At $72,000 after you topped up $6K, the pricing might not be as attractive at $6,950 annual depreciation (scrap value is $2,500). COE is the main killer for the Bezza.

 

There are other tempting alternatives â

Kia K3 L 1.6A - $74, 000 (scrap $6,000). Annual dep $6,800

Hyundai Accent 1.4A - $70,000 (scrap $5,000). Annual dep $6,500

10km/l.....that is bad. As everything Korean....nice packaging, nice looking, nice curves and sexy looking....but i wont touch. I have no Korean made stuffs at home save for a 22" lcd bought more than 10 yrs ago which i had to repair it myself after 3 yrs. The rest of my Korean products had to be replaced after a few yrs. Now its only Jap brands.....made in MY, INA or Singapore.

Korean car are generally quite good and trouble free.

I have owned 3 new Korean cars before.

Only FC is always over claim.If want good FC car,can forget Korean car.

And their paper spec bhp,not always tally with actual on the road performance.

I believe korean car from 2004 should be getting quite good. For current korean cars, i think should be even better la.

I drive a k3 now, n I normally get 7.5l per 100km.. that's 13.3km per litre, city n highway mixed driving..my monthly petrol in sg not more than sgd 200 mth.. Korean quality is better than before, n superior to nasi lemak quality too..I know, bec I rented proton n perodua cars to drive in msia ...

I guess its probably each to his own preference. Perodua cars are ok, especially those that directly inherited from Toyota designs. Have heard before Vios with terrible experience having problem with engine, gearbox, little parts, etc. Have owned Korean cars that have problem with the ignition coils. Some says Korean reliable, some says terrible. Same for japan made or Malaysian made.

 

But generally Proton cars do have reliability issues more than perodua. Probably proton engineers mod too much from the original design without much knowledge but perodua ones doesn't mod at all from the japs.

 

Sometimes old tech is reliable but not efficient and new techs are more efficient but less reliable. Its like saying those old cars with manual transmission, with no aircond and manual windows are more reliable than those new cars with keyless entry, engine start stop, lane detection, auto brake, etc. Think we need to move with the times, and just hope the engineers get it right.

Was servicing my car at AD today for 1000km before cny travels. Noticed that they are now providing accessories like door visor, bezza light up steps, leather seats and door panel guards.

Those accessories under Gear Up option (not sure Perodua Originals or not) costing S$1+++....

 

If you want to install can go JB Perodua SC to install. Cheaper.

39k Ringgit.....

 

sinkieland selling 70k+ SGD.....which is around 210k ringgit.....

210k ringgit for a “chance” to own the car. Can not guarantee you pay so much money but will get it.

So you mean Korean stuff worse than my Chinese stuff,right?

I don't quite believe that Korean stuff is worse than Chinese,when my Chinese phone can be used for 3 years(unexpected)and my LG washing machine is still running well after 7 years without repair.

Rather go Korean than go Renault group Jap cars.

I used to think it looks better than its main competitor- Attrage. Until I saw the real thing. Fugly little machine isn’t it? Although, I think it has better hardware than the Attrage.

eh.....i didnt say jap brands are rubbish......i said all my korean appliances have been changed to japanese brands (but not mij). But korean brands look sleek and futuristic especially samsung......but i am not sold on that idea.
