Yes it the most underrated car in Sg.

The 1.3 engine is almost  the same as in the 1.3 Vios.

The boot is bigger than a Vios and the rear seat is very spacious.

And you cannot get a more reliable car.

`Thousands of them in MY and you never hear any reliability problems.

Cheap to run, cheap to fuel, cheap to service. and good pick up.

Agree, coming from a 2008 Vios previously, it almost felt as if driving in Vios.

No one in right mind will pay so much for a Malaysia car. Maybe that's how they feel.

Thats also a valid point, comparing the amount to own bezza in SG compared to MY, it is almost 3times the differences. Might as well top up more to get another more major brand

Don't say the $69K Bezza, people even find  driving the $87K Kia Cerato a disgrace, and rather spend double  on a base model Audi A3, BMW 2 series or Mercedes A180 with smaller interior room.

Just did my inspection upon receiving LTA's notification last Fri at JIC AMK. One of the lao uncle inspectors didnt look too happy and was super detailed in checking all the cars (maciam got quota to hit for illegal mods). Not sure about the bro who previously failed the inspection due to the solar film but JIC passed mine (stock solar film from Perocom).

Thanks for the heads up! Super detailed means you were there for a long time?

also how’s the car so far since you got it?

Prolly the same uncle, his face v chao haha. I saw he passed a heavily modified Audi TT (huge spoilers, wide rims, heavily tinted windows, etc) in the queue before mine. At the end of the inspection, the owner was jumping for joy so I assume he passed the inspection. Maybe he just has a RBF (resting bitch face) issue.

Whole process took about an hour. To be fair, there were a few cars before me. The inspection at each station is quite smooth and fast, around 10-15mins each.

Havent had any running problems -touch wood- if thats what u are asking. Mine is also a manual transmission so no problem with the gearbox as well.

Of course, it wont win any races soon but I love how light the car is with the good power-to-weight ratio.

Oh I see, thanks ya!

That’s good to hear, hope it can remains reliable throughout the lifespan. Agree that it feels very fast to respond since it’s light with the 1.3l 4cylinder engine, quite surprising actually.

LOL bro @Vinceng based on what I have heard from other friends, @Dafansu is right. This should be the last place to do inspection if you have modified your car illegally. I go because the turnover is fast and it is the nearest to my place.

In fact, why take the chance at any inspection center? Go swap out all your illegal mods before inspection. After pass already then you can decide whether you want to re-install those mods and play hide-and-seek with TP again.

My favorite place was portsdown road.

Sadly closed many years ago when they were passing too many cars too easily.

I miss that place.
