Esso discount voucher

I very sensitive wan. Diff brands/grades got diff feel. So far the best I found is Esso98(60%) mix with V-power(40%) but many ppl said I siao. :(

Pumped $50 last night and combined with DBS Esso, ended paying $36.50. Funny thing I was under impression I pumped 92 but the receipt showed 95 when I checked it again this morning. Anyone ever encountered something like that before?

 

Gonna make it a point to check the receipt at the cashier going forward

It seems unlikely that the station made a mistake, as both the grade and quantity of fuel dispensed by the pump are directly linked to the cashier's terminal.

was it you pumped yourself, or the attendant pumped for you?

 

If latter, it could well be that the attendant pumped wrongly.

Wanted to pump 95. But attendant help to pump 98. Only found out after checking the receipt. But pump alr. Sua. Don't make things difficult for people.

I was at ESSO making payment at the counter few day back when this old uncle shouted at the pump attendant as he had pumped a higher grade petrol. Just a few dollars difference. If really a concern about the grade just pump yourself.

Must look for the dark blue handle.

Some Esso pumps have limited 92, you have to go "outside" lane or something.

If $1 off for every $10 pumped, shouldn't $60 be $6 off & need only 1 coupon?

You English is good but Unfortunately for Esso it's not like this.

 

But yes for Shell vouchers, it works like what you mentioned.

Mystery solved - the kiosk i visited, extra is on the extreme right, and regular is between supreme and extra. Thus the last visit when I assumed regular is on the outer most, I actually picked extra. What a fubar moment..

 

For one coupon's worth of gas, the volume diff between extra and regular is less than 1 litre.

 

Still feels good to pay less during every pump, thank u once again to mcf and bros who shared this!
