you stay in Sentosa? Got a cove . . . wah!! [laugh]

No he only own one of the hotels there

That's in sentosa

In tunnel dunno yet

Anyway can travel more la no control by lta lol

Diff sections hv diff limits.

Inside tunnel also 40kmh, they expect those supercars to go slow and catch fire inside tunnel lol

this tunnel dig for 6 years? [knife]

Yes, very complicated wor, if i remember correctly they are slated to open 1-2 years ago but due to complexity underground ard that area. Because that area got many tunnels like circle line, purple line and also have many structures support such as west coast highway flyover. So they need to study very carefully

Actually more than 6yrs, it took 8yrs, supposed to be completed by 7, but some complication with the digging around all the infrastructure underground.

Actually based on this diagram/map, the underground tunnel only starts after the sentosa causeway/bridge thus only on solid ground.

Once it is open, this is probably one of the few triple deck intersections around Singapore.

1) tunnel below

2) ground level traffic

3) Telok Blangah Flyover

if you don't count the MRT track underneath

Supersonic

Just exit Sentosa, peak hours kena stuck before Telok Blangah / Keppel Rd junction.

This is mainly caused by Vivocity traffic.

Everyone try to squeeze into Vivocity drop-off, including taxis with a taxi stand there. Then invariably they blocked the yellow box junction.

Also cars coming out of Vivocity car park all get jammed.

Then the tunnel will help alleviate this situation as the tunnel entrance is couple of tens of metres before the yellow box in front of the vivo taxi/carprk exit.

Basically if you are coming out from Sentosa, keep right most lane if you are going lower delta or keppel road.

The tunnel is at the rightmost lane, about 100m before the junction.

Those coming out from Sentosa should keep to the right to escape Vivocity jam.

And of cuz, LTA can put a ERP gantry at the tunnel entrance when they want more money.

this is the problem with huge malls, during peak hour it can be a nightmare. Vivocity despite well planning of having 2 entrance, it still cannot cope with the traffic flow. Hope this tunnel will help to ease the congestion. Funny thing about the area there is that if i go by west coast highway flyover, i need to make u turn at tanjong pagar to go to vivo lol

They should let the brani exit open for public access otherwise build another exit before brani so that car volume going to vivo entrance near sentosa will be reduced

Thought the tearing down of the rochor centre is to make way to build north south expressway?
