lancer6238 1st Gear December 9, 2018 Share December 9, 2018 Where do you guys send your cars for servicing? I've heard from people and online that the PML service centre is bad (expensive and doesn't actually solve any problems). Thanks.

If you choose PI, forget about any warranty. In term of servicing, there are a few specialist WS around.
takeoff80 Neutral Newbie January 9, 2019 Share January 9, 2019 Hi Any idea wats the price for x3 2.0i and 3.0i? Also wats the overtrade amount pml giving? Both 2.0i n 3.0i are awd?
Rayoflight 5th Gear January 9, 2019 Share January 9, 2019 2.0 is Sdrive (rwd) and it drives & handles pretty damn well too. 3.0 is Xdrive (awd) For the same money as GLC & q5, i’ll pick x3 for a more complete driver’s package. The interior is a solid & comfortable place to be in while driving.
xherion 2nd Gear January 10, 2019 Share January 10, 2019 Test drove X3 20i Msport today ($211K + $12K for Msport kit) The drive and handling is excellent. However the trade in offered for my mazda 6 is very low. And the SE only offered me $12K overtrade plus no discount, he said BMW usually only gives overtrade and no discount. Just want to check with you guys whether that is the case? And how much of discount and overtrade is reasonable to expect from PML? Thanks in advance!

xherion 2nd Gear January 10, 2019 Share January 10, 2019 ///M sports is not just aerokit. It includes ///M sports suspension & maybe 19" wheel. Yes i know that, similar to AMG kit in Merc. Although the AMG kit includes 6 pot caliper and perforated rotor, M sport only includes 4 pot caliper and normal rotor. That is just my observation. Rayoflight 5th Gear January 10, 2019 Share January 10, 2019 (edited) Overtrade is sort of a discount. Try selling your mazda 6 by yourself then go nego the discount off the listed price. Regards to trade in prices, all older cars suffers from this regardless of makes. The 2nd hand market is really weak. U can try selling yourself for weeks and yet will not get any calls. So this overtrade booster is sort of the cover your old car depre, but your new car will need to buy and get loan at listed price. Try pressing more discount after you work out your sums and 99% sure ok to change. Sure can squeeze more. Skip the car shows, go down to pml have a cup of coffee and put your nego skills to work there. Edited January 10, 2019 by Rayoflight
xherion 2nd Gear January 11, 2019 Share January 11, 2019 Hi Ray, Thanks, really appreciate your constructive input. Currently deciding for X3 or GLC, although i might wait for GLC facelift. So yeah you're right, i will not push for discounts when I am not ready to deal. Will only do so when I can make decision. I was just wondering how flexible PML pricing policy is, so i thought of asking here and get some gauge. Overtrade is sort of a discount. Depends on time etc. Some of the discounts are tied to loan package etc. Similar to the GLC, be prepared to wait for delivery.
SGspore Neutral Newbie January 11, 2019 Share January 11, 2019 I am driving old F25 X3 model, quite often i hear cracking sound dashboard. I do understand this is common problem for bmw x3. i believe this is due to heat and cold materials expansion and contraction. For the x3 new model, do you have the same sound? Thanks

SE just want qty of vehicle sold to get comm. Vehicle discount wise have to ask “management” for approval cause of pml’s margin. When u r ready, u will go all out for it regardless. No offense but i felt the X3 has a better overall driver’s orientated feel than the GLC. The GLC no doubt is more comfortable but felt less roomy since it’s based on the C class chasis. ↡ Advertisement
