So why so much talk on TW breaking out. Its all part of the west strategy of divide and rule. They done it in Africa , India. They try to do it to China. 

And lastly people ask what about the rights of tw people that want TW to be independent.

How come you never mention CCP is pushing hard for the merger with PRC?

Unlike Catalan and Texas, ROC is not a state within PRC.

International relations follow jungle law. Super powers get to do whatever they like to do. What the Cairo Declaration or UN resolutions say is secondary. Taiwan “belongs to China” because Beijing declares it so and has the capability to deter any move toward independence. And it either already has, or will soon have, the strength to keep others from interfering if it launches a unification war. The same principle applies to why Hawaii belongs to US.

The only reason CN need Dutch anything is one reason only. cos of ASML. 

The whole western world, TW and SK can depend on ASML. But for CN, it's a strategic weakness. So even if they have to catch up at least part way (not possible full way given how specialised all the equipment needed is), they will do so.

China wants EUV but the IP belongs to America.

ASML EUV primarily sold to Intel, TSMC and Samsung.
Only TSMC has the lowest rejection rate.

Even CN want to catch up, it needs a home grown Zeiss

The phenomenon I'm actually referring to is.

Chickens... some.. supporting Hainanese Chicken rice stalls because it is "Chinese" and "chicken" ... so MUST naturally be good for chickens. 🤔

There's nothing wrong with chickens not liking say Burger King, but to simply support Hainanese Chickenrice stalls... I'm not saying you personally...  is kinda chicken illogical. 

US did actually fight in Vietnam and SK. But that has benefited us greatly. Especially Vietnam bought breathing space for the whole SEA from communist insurgency. (BTW its on record LKY requested TXP to stop support for communist insurgency)

Agree that we can't stop what the ccp intends to do in SCS, but need to recognise its the biggest potential security threat since the Imperial Japanese Navy sailed down.

These Coast Guard is operating like 300km from Philippines coast.
