Bring in the Wagons then we shall talk  [:p]

Wagons are such understated cars in SG, they don't get enough publicity as much..

Wo, the new 2019 VRS comes in 18'' wheels format? Better FC! hahaha.. what wheels will that be?

Fierce looking

The thing about wagons, which I like, are that they face the same problem as SUVs and long hatchbacks. Given that we almost exclusively reverse park and the commonness of mscp meant that opening the boot is a challenge.

Many brands in UK/Europe are already allowing Custom specifications on their orders for options

1 car with its own options and with delivery date from fresh built from factory. Some runs from 4-6 months.

Don't understand why the local AD don't allow it?

I know LTA have it's dumb Homologation rules so doing 1 homologation for each custom car is not the best choice. But the AD can work out something with LTA based on Chassis type number and Engine type. Which are mostly similar for model and engine.

Custom specification are all mainly options, few engine choices all fixed and trim levels.

Had to chance to speak to AriesGoat today at Skoda. really appreciate his time and effort in explaining Kodiaq even though I told him right from the start that this is more of a see see look look as my sedan is relatively new but at times, I might need to ferry more than 5 persons (kids and elderly). was expecting a huge depreciation for a 1year+ car but the trade-in price was worse than I thought, sigh...

car wise, I tested the 2.0 version. apparently the same engine as GTI but detuned. really lots of functionalities here and there to make your life easier. speed wise is definitely up to my expectations especially the Sports mode, but missus complained it's too rough cos she's more used to softer suspension. kids like the car as well and fit well in the 3rd row.

mentioned that I was interested in checking out Sharan (because of the GTI engine) and AriesGoat even volunteered to get a VW SE to attend to me lol. but I was in a rush to go elsewhere so perhaps another time.

I feel that isn't the issue why wagons aren't popular.

SUV with a raised ride height will have that particular problem amplified but people are still buying it.

Because hearses are wagons.

So people don't buy wagons.

That's my feel.

Maybe it was in the past but i observe nowadays most coffin carrying vehicles are vans. I love wagons. I personally find those cars that installed external lights esp those pointing at the ground look more like funeral cars.

Comm is shared with such intro. Not "volunteered" thing

Even SE can intro u to other brands totally unrelated (eg Skoda and Honda), they will intro u over despite they know no one over the other side. I won't go to details, as sales ppl won't appreciate I guess if all disclosed out.

Welcome to the world of "sales"

I realised that the car keeps alerting if vehicles around you are too near. A bit too sensitive and frequent, and annoying as it mutes down my radio volume unless you close the message prompt.

Is that the rear traffic assist? Any tips?
