@adrian....had an appointment and car was parked in open air carpark. By time got back poo already dried/baked. Did waxing but seems still there, NOT as bad as before waxing.....will try again, otherwise will send to coating shop to get it off. Read somewhere about using vinegar or WD40 will these damage paint at all?? Tks.

Buy some polishing compound which will remove the scratches left when removing the dried poo.

I find that soaking dried white bird poo is easy and tend not to damage the paint work. However the dried RED poo is a PITA to remove and always leave minor scratches/chips after the removal!  :a-bang:

i think this is how ceramic coating CC goes... bird poo stain on CC, your paint still protected but stain still there... water stain on CC, need machine buff. i think the new cling wrap fashion is quite good if can self heal and no water stain marks.

The capital investment for PPF is high, returns are uncertain because not too many people on it. I would say this product is still on the novelty phase, like vinyl wrap when it first started.

give some time for cling wrap ... cheaper ones will yellow/bubble. but future versions will have like tint to protect paint from UV, "cooler", stronger against stone chips. wont be surprised if they come out for the windscreen but applied outside.
