So far seems like NE line never have major breakdown? Always happens on EW line esp on the Jurong side.

My one experience with simplygo was quite some time ago, I forgot my flashpay card and wanted to take the LRT. Tried zapping my posb debit card and surprise the gate open for me. Problem was, at the destination, the gate refused to open for my debit card. And the station was not manned, couldn't ask or seek help

I have forgotten exactly how but eventually opened and managed to get out. Not a good impression about the reliability but it's probably improved by now.
