Not sure what they quoted 1k. Is it because if quote 2k might be equivalent to guaranteed bid price? Did they offer discount when you cancel and want to sign back with them again?

Seems like despite covid, Coe demand is becoming higher.

Actually, for prices similar to M3, what other models are there besides Civic, Octavia, corolla?

They did not offer any discount for me to stay, they just agree with the cancellation without asking much, wish I think they don't want to close the deal by earn less profit, to me they seen like die die wanna earn that much of profit, if can't earn that much they may as well don't sell... In terms of quality and those safety function i think mazda 3 stand out from the rest at the price range, but leg room is small for Mazda 3, but that's don't bother me much as i don't carry that many passenger most of the time 😆

So far I googled, I haven't really seen Mazda owners flagging this out.

Your signed price already factored in a risk of Coe reaching higher limits in 6 bids. Kinda waste of time right if after 6 bids, still can't get the car. That's at least 3 months. It's to weigh if paying 2k for guaranteed bid is worth it. To each it's own.

What upgrades or add on did you get ?

i bought during nov 11.11 promo with 6 bid guaranteed coe, this dec is 3rd bidding still haven’t secure coe. now coe price keep increasing, can TEK go back on the guaranteed coe and just not sell to me at the end of the 6 bids? would i need to top up from the nov 2020 coe?

I think you are covered. They need to deliver yours within 6 bids.

Audi a1 when on sale is 104k, close to the mz3 High spec variants :)

From what I remember one of the forumers shared that legally in the contract they can still not deliver (just read the T&C) , but usually when it's G COE they will do so one la :)

Though customers in SG very forgiving even if the AD was infamous for playing consumers out - just look at when KMC sabo so many people during the lock down deals many cursed them... Now the avante thread full of lovers who keep ogling at how wonderful the car is (and many have also bought it from KMC) :)

I don't understand what you explained. Are you saying you paid 2k worth in upgrades and services and that is equivalent to paying for the guaranteed bid?

Sorry i didnt clarify properly, the G-big was +2k, I didn't take that because I did a brief research online and seen that majority recommend Non-G as there hasn't been any issues of non-securing for the past few years. I paid extra 2k on for extra warranty/servicing, which ended up equivalent to G-bid price. First timer getting car so made a mistake of not negoing for g-bid. Didnt even nego anything with SE also.

I think only TEK sells the Mazda 3 BP.

hopefully they honor the 6 bid guarantee haha

Black and white. Why do you think they won't honour leh? Unless guaranteed bid means something else, is there a fine print here?

So far I’ve not heard or read of AD not honouring Guaranteed COE.

Komoco deal was willing buyer, willing seller. Seller gambling on COE dropping n buyer taking the bait. For non guaranteed COE, that’s how it works. Buyer can’t curse AD for not securing a non guaranteed COE. If Komoco sold Guaranteed COE n failed to deliver then by all means buyer can curse them but that’s not the case.
