Anyone using mate9 with tpg and can use VOLTE?

I wrote to Huawei and they replied to me saying that VOLTE is service provider dependent... And not totally device dependent.

If the SP does not support the specific device then cannot use VOLTE. So according to Huawei, tpg and singtel does not support VOLTE in mate9 so don't have.

My tpg mi max 3 can call my ST iPhone

Both connect nicely

My P20 Pro has no issues.

Setting>Wireless & Networks>Mobile Network - Go to SIM 2, there is a slider to enable VoLTE calls.

Anyone knows if you can use tpg Sim on this mifi? I tried setting up the app as mentioned but just couldn’t get any connection on my mifi. The SIM card works on a mobile phone though. So I can safely say SIM card has no issue. Anyone can assist? Thanks in advance.

Nope, will not work on China MIFI that does not support 900mhz. Go and get those MIFI that supports 900mhz like Huawei or Prolink.

If you know how to disable volte carrier check for your mobile devices, should be able to get volte.

Xiaomi and redmi are not on TPG list, but many redmi owners are successful in activating volte. My family have Redmi Note 4, Redmi 3 prime and pocophone F1, all Volte enable.

Forget about VoLTE, it's a failure.

When I enabled it, sometimes calls dropped or other weird problem.

I just disable it, and all calls are problem free.
