In any case, I can't say for sure since I'm not a lawyer, but if it gets 'milky' after so long, it is unlikely to be his fault.. he probably did a good job, but things have changed with time..

No lah …… need specific skill sets/ experience too ……not suka suka …. Let’s put it in simple lingo ….. God has given us like 1 chance to do a cataract as the original one is easy to remove but the replacement one ( inorganic) “gels/ fuses” in a different way and to “ kopek” it is not easy job

Bro ….. I”m using “ milky or obscured” in layman terms ….. the docs know the exact terminology…. Even asked him if he will be present ( as they are the same fraternity maybe a year or two diff) but said he will not want to participate….. it left a sour note

My regular GP advises me that even as well known as the private specialists are, all doctors have their "blind spots". They only know what they are good at. Even eye speciality is split into few sub disciplines like retina, neuro etc. She advises that no harm to get a 2nd opinion where needed to cast a light on blind spot of the 1st doctor. Just sharing.

If you visit a large center, you’ll get the full range of sub specialties and in an institution cross referral is straightforward and commonplace

They have guidelines who can operate on what conditions for eye subspec. What you are accredited for essentially. 

Whether in pte or public, think EYE is quite strict on that. 

In general, the retinal surgeon can do the most varied procedures. But u ask them to do like fix droopy eyelids, they also won't do.
