Was quoted $188K for R-Design. Standard X550 camera, Rikecool solar film and Volvo mat. Anyone manage to get a cheaper deal? Seem like there is no option to opt-out the camera and solar film which i prefer to go with other brand.

After collect car just go and change camera and film if it really bothers u..they prob get it cheap so not keen to convert it to cash value... What you can do to improve on is the trade in value for existing car as i m assuming you have one now.188k is not bad already..tell yr SE lower 2k n u come down n sign? Yesterday went showroom to enquire bout their ocbc cars (not a great deal). Showroom very crowded, most of them Bo hiu us.

I suggest you call in and make a phone enquiry. Get assigned to a SC so you can make appoint to go down and definitely can get help. Showroom is definitely crowded on weekends especially after lunch hour.

Not impress with both SE I spoke to. One of them is not flexible and was pretty firm on the price offered and the other keep giving wrong information about the specs and add-on.

i saw online that there was $2000 service voucher for referal to purchase volvo... anyone referred and shared the voucher? or if push the SE will give the $2000?

Yes. I got a referral n my friend n i both received service voucher. Voucher can be used to buy accessory or option. Push SE fr better trade in and discount off car price..standard is 5k off so nego fr more than that.

195k xc60 is base model... u have to check the specs..less equipped than a R design xc40 which is cheaper unless you really need that extra 45mm of leg space and 45 litres of extra boot space

Noticed the selling price of the car has dropped again, this time with COE remaining constant.

Does this mean those who bought earlier have been disadvantaged, or will there be less discounts for overtrade and loan this time round?

I'm sure the distributor has a minimum selling price in mind, would be interesting to know what that figure would be.

The referrer has to be an existing Volvo owner. $2k Volvo voucher only application for Mar 18 registration. XC40 is all in May/Jun so only $1k Volvo voucher.
