Someone mentioned City were guilty of tactical fouls.

This BBC article analyses if this is true or not......

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49371002

Tactical foul is around as far as i can remember.

Got some game the striker through on goal.

The def bring him down and walk off himself knowing its a red.

And ppl praise him for taking it for the team.

Maybe man c is doing it more pro then others?

But i wont criticize them.

Unless any 1 can say their own team not doing it.

Yes agreed, tactical foul has always been around. Man City has been specifically pin pointed as the main culprits but stats from Opta doesn’t seem to prove it but then again stats sometimes doesn’t tell the whole story. As I said previously, leave it to the refs to handle it. I believe they are competent enough to spot tactical fouling if it’s done consistently n methodically.

Turbocharged

Yes u r right, regardless of the Super Cup win; Pool will represent Europe in the World Club Cup. Super Cup is like the Community Shield of Europe ie the curtain raiser to the season proper.

With all due respect, League, FA Cup, League Cup, UCL n UEL are the main trophies cos they are proper competitions which involves at least 5 rounds of competition or more. 1 off trophies like Community Shield, Super Cup n even World Club Cup shldnt he counted in my opinion. WCC does have more than 1 match but it’s still a closed competition.

and World Club Cup is very imbalanced

other than the South American team which may offer a fight, other teams have no chance at all

in fact, pressure is always on the European team for them to win easily in WCC

My first post in the new MCF.

Pool won convincingly vs Arsenal on Saturday and with City also winning added with Man United and Spurs losing at home, seems like the big 2 will run away in a 2 horse race again!

David Luiz seems like an agent for Chelsea lol

But i guess at the most as having Mustafi 2.0 so not much difference

He shld be better than Mustafi but as I mentioned before, he likes to take risks n anticipate by moving in early so as to intercept the ball first but this only works at times. At other times, like the Salah goal; he gets turned and the opponent has a clear run at goal. That's why some pundits feel he is better off as a DM.

But playing out from the back, he is good and can pass those over the top balls very accurately. I suppose he is the type of player where you have to accept as a package ie the good comes with the bad. As long as there is more good than bad, then Ok. Time will tell.....

First time I seen in the table that 8 teams with 4 points.  [cool]

Meaning 1 win, 1 draw and 1 lost each .... [flowerface]

Usually in past seasons, only about 4 or 5 teams after 3 games getting 4 points.

Proved that this year EPL very competitive & exciting.

Good sign and good fights for every teams.  [smash]

I think David Luiz is a match winner.

Chelsea sold him cheap for a good reason.

He will help Chelsea to a top 4 place.

:D

4 of the top 6 have lost so in that sense u r right that it is competitive but Pool n City have remain unbeaten so looks like last season leh. Hope it’s not going to be another 25 points gap😩

No need very big gap, but hope that Pool can win the league this season.

And hor, it's actually the other 4 teams playing below par that they lost so early this season. Hope they'll play better, esp when they play City 😆

Spurs have some issues with those guys on final year of contract ie Vertonghen, Eriksen n Toby. The first 2 not even chosen for first X1 though Eriksen did come on as sub. There seems some disunity behind the scenes.

Chelsea has a young team which is settling in to a new Mgr with a new system.

Arsenal seem ok but their defensive issues seem same esp against Pool in last match.

United I don’t know what’s the problem as they moved on some players n signed 3 good players.

In short, yes 4 of the top 6 playing below par n so looks like they will be fighting again for 3rd/4th n possibly Leicester or Wolves might give these 4 a fight as well.
