Yes it's show time.. Its time for George Russell to show his true potential. I believe he could beat bottas easilly. Who knows maybe he might win the coming race under Mercedes..

george seems to have high expectations placed on him ..

this weekend's track has many high speed straights and only four real turns .. in other words a power and low downforce track ..

the mercedes is the best car on the grid, the mercedes engine is known to be high on horsepower, and does well on low downforce,

max will have more of a task as the honda probably has a little less horsepower, and does better on higher downforce tracks,

but george has not driven a W11 (only a W10) and how fast he learns the different systems like DAS will be important.

and george has never been beaten by any teammate in quali in his whole career! can bottas beat him?

will be tantalising to watch!

lets see GR beat Bottas and suddenly all hell break loose

that would then likely confirm GR to replace Bottas for the mercedes seat in 2022.

both GR and Bottas have contracts in 2021.

Then this lends credence to the argument that the car wins championships and not the driver. [laugh]

in f1, its always the car more impt than the driver... the driver who won the championship without the constructors champsionship are the real ones 😜

As a neighbour, I feel compelled to support albon, especially when it looks like red bull already writing him off, especially his partner verstappen.

On the contrary, Driver feedback is important for setup of car.

Without good driver, setup of the car will be crap

yup. the whole idea of practice 1, 2 and 3 is to tune the car to suit the driver

each driver has their style and limit in pushing the car

each car is customed tune for the "track" + "driver"

Turbocharged

0.026 ahead of a boy who spend 3 practice session in the car...

there are a few intepretations to the above result... but Bottas is basically in a lose lose situation

CLR managed to slipstream himself into 4th. That was mighty impressive
