I decided to order a refurbished one yesterday because of the cb extension... It's going to be another month so we might need to use it ... Also my old one needs about half an hour to get up to speed.

The waiting time for Lenovo is min 4 weeks for this model. Some other models takes 6-8 weeks!

If u r urgent,  better get alternative option.

Refurbished also Lenovo? Buy from?

Ah.. Cresendo.  Yeah. I did check it this out but not many available models left.

And since the new model I saw is so cheap, just get la. I just got to sit and wait for 4 weeks.

Thinking of getting a Lenovo laptop to do some work such as Labview programming and video-editing.  Need at least a system with 16Gb Ram and harddisk of 512Gb to 1TB SSD.

Would it be significantly cheaper to buy online than say, from  Challenger or Harvey Norman?

Need Windows 10 Professional, as well as MS Office.

Has anyone got the Lenovo L340?

According to the website https://www.techsiting.com/best-budget-laptops-for-video-editing/

it is one of best budget laptop for video-editing. It is essentially an entry-level gaming laptop so it can't be too slow (although I don't use it for games).

BTW, what is the place to get the best deal (in terms of price and quick delivery) for Lenovo laptop?

I have just checked lazada and came across the shop called Atrix Aurora.  Seems that they provide same day delivery.

Told them about my spec requirements and they recommend Ideapad S530-13IML (16GB RAM, 1 T SSD,Windows Home, with free MS Office) - $1699.

Any experience with this shop?
