One stupid white racist beating up an old Asian women

is not state sponsored terrorism.

This is very different from the state putting millions of muslims in detention camps

But i am very sure someone here will say - its exactly the same.

Then your earlier comment is misleading.

I lived in California for a number of years, can't say there were no discrimination but it is generally much less than many other places in Asia and perhaps in some parts of the US.  You can't eliminate racism totally, like you can stop murders and robberies 100%.

Police protects the rich. It is the money stupid.

but America care for China Muslim

We all know this is never about Xinjiang and human rights. Biden already publicly said he doesn't want China to overtake US during his tenure. US is now "repairing" their damaged relationships with their traditional allies (broken by Trump) and will do everything they could to throw a big spanner in the Chinese works. China is always at a disadvantage against this juggernaut and bully due to its lack of global allies (which they had wanted to build but for several reasons the Belt n Road Initiatives are not successful), plus they had started 10 steps behind the US since the war.

I agree with Biden though. It will not be 2026 but beyond 2028. China's day will come.

Yeah but the recent rise of racism against asian is an alarm. And the govt didn’t really give a damn about asian. Esp trump, keep fuelling the hatred towards china during pandemic and in return rising hate against asian in america.

Huh US santion Japan in the 80's?

Those were the best ever years in the Japan economy.

Those were the boom years in Japan.

The 90's were the bad years for Japan.

Is it because US removed the santions?

Then better faster bring back the santions again

we want Japan to boom again.

Good article, now I know.

:a-m1212:

Its says US$ went too high

Quote

From 1980 to 1985, the dollar had appreciated by about 50% against the Japanese yen, Deutsche mark, French franc, and British pound

Then it says they all agreed to bring it down.

Quote

The Plaza Accord was a joint–agreement to depreciate the U.S. dollar in relation to the Japanese yen and German Deutsche mark
