Leeds United first 4 matches were outstandng and now went downhill ...  [grin]

Leicester City same as last year, first half of the season tok-kong and second half goes haywires ... :o

Currently second in the league table, just 1 point behind L:iverpool.  :meaw:

Some teams catch others by surprise. Leeds' style caught some teams out initially. When they got found out, then not so good liao...

Leicester is managed by Rogers. That's maybe his limit liao. He's looking to land another lucrative job after rebuilding his reputation.

everton also .

they lack sq depth.......

No, they lost because of karma. they will continue losing many many, esp when that prickford plays.

Southampton has beaten the two early surprise packages - everton and Villa - in the last 2 matches. not bad it seems.

btw, just noticed that thiago silva was made captain. Did it just start, or one-off? Looks to have stabilised the defence somewhat.

this season also the matches like all high-scoring. Penalties awarded also record high.

thiago silva is team cpt only ( only when César Azpilicueta is not playing ). over all sq cpt is César Azpilicueta .

got 1 time César Azpilicueta snatch the ball away from tammy abraham when tammy want to snatch a pen kick from jorginho.😁

with james and chilwell as FBs, azpilicueta will be playing less?

i missed that penalty incident. would love to see he do the same to balotelli 😅

Ya he didn't   start as many games as the past.

But he offer more stability on the def side compare to james.

James love to attack and overlap.  But dun forgot his number 1 task is defending properly  first.

So far this season has seen Leeds, Everton and Villa providing the old school big 6 challenge. My fav old schools, Man U, Pool, Spurs, Leeds, Villa and Everton.

Am glad Man  stuck with Pogba. This Pogba is machiam like Dele Alli, both become has been, social media footballers who think they are great players still. At least now Mou drops Dele and ignore him almost completely for EPL games. TBH, I am sad that Dele has turned out this way. This guy got talent, worked his way up from lower leagues. A classic tale of a lower div player making it big, and like James Vardy, gives hope to the players in lower div that one day, they will even have the chance to represent England and even star for top EPL team. And yes they are english. Dele went on to even win 2 times young player of the year. But sadly after 2018, his form dropped. Hes no longer hungry.

Pogba even worst. He even go as much as disrespecting Man United. Yes, Man U may not be as glamourous as say 10yrs back, but this prick tinks hes bigger than Man Utd.

Marcus Rashford is a boy all these guys should really learn from, humble.

pickford is damn lousy, remind me of kepa.

how did he smoke and become england no 1

.........

Pickford is a kangcheong spider, I wont say he is lousy but more that due to his kancheongness, the defence also become kangcheong😬

Goalies hv to be steady n this breeds confidence in the entire defence and for that matter, the team as well. A calming presence helps a lot, u see what Mendy has brought to an otherwise same Chelsea defence. The difference is like between Heaven n Hell!

As EPL completes the 8th round of matches tonite before going for the International break, the top half of the table is so tight n separated by only 4pts. In fact from 1st to 15th, only 6pts difference. This makes it one of the tightest title races ever. That said, I’m expecting that perhaps 4-5 teams might break away n become front runners? Some surprise teams like Saints, Leicester could join the ranks together with the usual suspects City, Pool.

3 of the other big 6 ie Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal also seem to be striking some consistent form but will they be sustainable? We shld be able to see a clearer pic by Xmas I suppose when the boys are separated from the men. So for now is, game on!!

The big match City v Pool ends all square but City could hv gotten all 3 pts if De Bruyne didn’t miss a penalty so Leicester is top now! Very exciting to see the lead changing hands so frequently. Over the weekend, Saints, Spurs n Leicester took turns to lead n a good change to see the not so fancied teams lead👍

Just as I posted last evening about Arsenal having some momentum n they duly lost 0-3 at home to Villa.

The EPL allowing only 3 subs are having a toll on injuries esp for the teams playing in Europe as well n this perhaps is one of the reasons behind the topsy turvy form of the big 6 n letting teams like Saints, Villa n Everton to do well? That said Leicester are playing in UEL as well n doesn’t seem affected?

Leeds is a fluke...gonna say the same to AV then they hammered gunners tiga kosong away some more

Go AV! Be a surprise top 6...

actually their way of play is good. but i feel the player not up to standard.

they are playing like pools and city, very high pressing and high intensity , but their passing and control often let them down, esp under pressure.
