why pay admin fee when you can port-out then maybe port-in for free. :D

Those who want to save the hassle of porting out and porting in again.

But nowaday port-out port-in are pretty hassle-free, sign up online, wait for sim delivery or esim, then pop-in the new sim at the right time, done.

For those want to downgrade the plan, most probably want to save some $.

so it is a case of save the $ versus save the hassle. :D

Sorry, after a recheck possible but not possible.....

"Plan changes are only allowed if your account is active, not blacklisted, and has no outstanding balance. Plan change from a higher priced plan to a lower priced plan will be subjected to a one time admin fee of $10.90."

You would need to confirm staying 3-4months just to break even. In my head earlier, I chalked that down as "not possible" 😁 Better to port out and back again.

That's pretty inflexible. Was thinking of get the 10 dollar plan when I need to travel then use the starter plan when I'm not traveling.

If you want customer retention in your service. Then it's best to offer the different varieties of options to accommodate most customers.

Like I'm possibly interested in using zero1. But now due to this inflexibility in downgrading, I may just stick to eight after all.

can try Vivifi if want to be on SingTel network. Some downgrades FOC, some need to pay "penalty". I managed to downgrade two ten dollar plan to 7.70 plan w/o penalty.

Best customer retention I saw so far is Eight, with their top-up $xx get $xx extra promotion, straight away tie the customer down with all the balance inside. :D

Now Zym is offering 6-month free (7th to 12th month; promo ending in few days),and looks like it has no fee for plan change.

Seems like Vivifi is identical to zero1 also ST network, but 10c cheaper on the ~$10plan.

The downgrade option is a plus...... and 6M free for port-in 😲

Not bad - I checked the roaming destinations, cover the usual places. But too lazy to port from Lion King to save 5 bucks a month.

For some..... it might be important to note ZYM does not allow IDD calls without additional monthly fee dependant to where you need/want to call.

Got my upgrade from Zero1

IMG_3586.jpeg

My app still says "Plan Change in Progress" for like the last three weeks, so suppose should be at the end of my cycle these few days.

I took zero a few months back because of the RoamAP to 13-countries, better than most then, and now an extra 2GB/month makes it ideal. With cheaper EU roaming than ST, all feels much better than my old ST contract 😀

I mean jamesc used cars not doing well lah but I told her no need to save the 10 cents.

She told me its not the money its the principle.

My petrol and parking more than 1 year of 12 months saving 10 cents.

$1.20 only

Twincharged

@Jman888 zero1 "streamo bold" is 300 airtime; whereas Zym roamplus is 1000 mins(volte) - more bang for buck if you use lots of airtime monthly.
