IMHO.
You actually have options especially when you already have a spare phone.
If many users, you can hotspot.
If single user, you can do USB tethering.

P.S.  I am replying this using USB tethering.

Thank you. Just wondering if the phone will get really hot if there're more than 2 or 3 people hotspotting....

The temperature will increase.  If the temperature gets too high,  the phone will tell you.

Supersonic
  • giga(No Contract) – $10.00
    – 6 GB data
    – 100 mins talktime
    – 100 SMS
    – Free incoming calls
    – Free caller ID

m1 SIM-only plan finished, so I decided to sign up for giga, it meets my requirement of 4GB min and free caller ID

Anyway, no contract, if not happy, I can switch telco again. Hope all goes well.

yeah, some other plans already charge you extra $5 for caller ID, not include the plan price.

Compared to the Giga plan, this MyRepublic plan gives more minutes and sms. They use M1's network. My kids are on this plan.
6GB data on normal 4G speeds, thereafter throttled speeds unlimited data.
The good thing about the throttled speeds after the initial 6GB, it'll teach kids to watch their data usage while allowing parents to still contact them using lowered speeds if initial data is exceeded.

True, TPG seem to have better deals. However, reviews don't seem to be good.

TPG can only use for spare line or maybe for kids, new telco, will need some time to have good network coverage.
