There is never any savings in buying a car in SG. The most is losing more or less. Otherwise is just snowballing spending by changing one car to the other and the cycle repeats.

I think in the next generation or two, the reduction in car population would work because these generations know that it is not worth to pay so much for a car when we have a good public transport network. And maybe much more so when ERP2.0 kicks in.

If our public transport at this level, I guess commuter will give up car

pardon this noob question but is there any difference in price between booking online vs store? for example, booking an Audi online is very different from booking with a sales rep in terms of the price.

So far Tesla gave me the best reliability and range diff. Already booked the new Y, coming end April. Trade in for my old Y is good. Rather clear cut.

Anyway, cat A model Y customised for SG is a very good effort by Tesla.

I congratulate it. There is a good $22k difference between cat A and B at the moment.

That's pretty significant for those that dont care about lesser power output and prefer lower road tax.
