hanjiang fish soup. Went there because my wife wants to eat the mixed rice again. The fish soup stall only has 2 people in queu at 515pm 🙂 bought $8 soup. A bit salty though. Fish is fresh and good.

satay and some bbq chicken wings at the same market. Not too bad too.

Quite true, seldom see youngsters queue for fish soup. Fish soup usually middle age and above and also ladies.

Finally tried this baker - overall satisfied and our favs are chocolate flourless, banana loaf and the pandan teacake.

 

Decided to queue for the braised duck rice as well - 45mins wait. Too hungry and only remembered to take photo of duck rice after demolishing part of it 🤣

45 mins too long. My max limit is 15 mins. But that's for the chong pang branch. The ghim moh queue is crazee.

When i go ghim moh food centre, no matter what time of the day, this duck rice always have long queue. So never try due to the queue.

Is the food stuff from headless baker very sweet?

Actually, I prefer the teochew braised duck at Alexandra FC best and dont think the queue there must wait that long. However, since my daughter queuing at baker, I also queued for duck (not CKT as I feel that is overrated).

Most of them quite ok (e.g. flourless chocolate cake, banana loaf, pandan teacake) but there are couple of them like dalgona coffee, caramel biscoff teacakes inevitably on the sweet side because of the icing layer.

Good apple like Rose or Envy normally is per pc sell.
