I have a problem accepting Wordle Unlimited word. The answer is "LOGAN".

It is a proper noun (someone's name and very common in NZ) according to the dictionary and should not be allowed. If LOGAN is a Wordle word, then Peter or Italy should be too.

I was going to ask Simi ish Wordle Unlimited.

But I googled it and played it. Today's word is not LOGAN leh. At least for me. Does it vary randomly?

Apparently, the word can be a common noun in particular vernacular usage.

logan in American English

(ˈlouɡən)

NOUN

marshy or stagnant water that has branched off from a stream or lake; pokelogan

Wordle (the standard version) also accepts weird Scottish lingo etc. I think Josh Wardle wasn't too particular about his wordset. Maybe the set of accepted tries is a superset of the actual target solutions. In any case, I think the NYT might have pared down the list since buying it off him.

From 2 clues to correct answer, must have midnight craving for laksa.😅

Lol... Ok, next time I try Laksa, it is a good 5-letter word.

Actually I have 3 clues before i got to 3rd row.  Not using hard mode.

Ownself answering ownself @serenade - yes, target changes within the day. And I just solved it with the word LEVIN, which is most commonly a proper noun (masculine name) but is actually an archaic word for lightning.

Before that (my first solve), it was CRAFT.

EDIT: OK, had another go. This time I didn't waste time with trying previous solutions since I know how the game works. Still, a bit retarded of me to have come up with PLAID and FLAIL before CLAIM lol. 😂
