Visitors who come to our building have no idea that our management is super on the ball about carpark fees, not to mention tailgaters. The other evening I ended work and followed two cars down the ramp, with one being a Fit. At Level 6, the Fit tailgated the first car down (they're friends). I know because they were chatting at the carpark before that. Upon reaching level 1, right after turning left out of the ramp, a lady from the management office was already standing there. So boycott. The IU issue is much easier to sort out. Apart from changing IU or changing car (!), I believe vCashcard can help (I think EZ Pay is an alternative, but I've never used it). Pretty sure it works on old IUs too. Just set up autopayment and go confidently through the gantries without a card inside the IU. You'll be fine. Oh right! But you are right, car price is crazy, no point changing car now, and dont buy too new the used car, you will be stuck with the car for a long time or, when you sell it in a few years time when COE is cheaper , you will suffer significant loss.
