Yes, it’s decent food for the peasants really.

It's same casual restaurant like Jack's Place, Aston etc but slightly lower price and food being served compare to fast food restaurant.

Great for quick dinner without much queue... But not recommended for anyone looking for steak.

S’pore Women Say They’ll Never Go On Dates At Fast Food & Korean BBQ Restaurants

These two girls are content creators, so i guess they are just trying to invoke some feelings thus leading to comments and more views or hits.

in reality, what constitutes a date?  Or rather what kind of date are we talking about?  Casual, relaxed one, regular one. Or early stage, awkward, trying hard to impress one.    Starting, surely go somewhere better lah, after steady liao, then can be more regular mah.

just like last time see ex girlfren, always want to hug and hold hands and kiss.  Nowadays, much much less lor….. , just normal human behaviour.

Everyday eat abalone and lobster also sian, i know that, i tried before.  Eat abalone everyday for a week.  After that really got sian…..

Non-Constituency MP Leong Mun Wai called out Singapore’s largest supermarket chain, saying: “Food prices have surged because NTUC FairPrice stood by instead of doing more.”

The Progress Singapore Party secretary-general added that FairPrice’s prices today are not the lowest in the market.

On calls to delay the GST hike, MP Sitoh Yih Pin (PAP-Potong Pasir) said: "Honestly, Mr Speaker, I think the opposition MPs have been milking the GST cow for a very long time.

"So maybe, I just want to say if you really must milk something, go and milk another cow," he added.

Basic needs are basic needs, luxury wants are luxury wants, aspirations are aspirations.

for people who over-commit, they have to pay the price becos, they dont give back when they reap the returns either.

the Govt needs to stop taxing good people to cover the holes of the unwise.

According to the bank’s annual Financial Wellness Index released on Wednesday (Nov 8), just 40 per cent of Singaporeans can afford to spend beyond the basics most of the time, down eight percentage points from 2022.

I find the above hard to believe. If it is true, then can someone tell me why are there still long queue for bubble tea, donuts and restaurant food? Bubble tea, donuts and restaurant food are beyond the basics right?  Long queue for those items means most can afford right? So how can be only 40 percent of Sporeans? [confused]

Many are swimming naked to impress others. On the surface look wealthy but bank balance few dollars, live from paycheck to paycheck . They draw 5 digits and want to live like a millionaire 🤣

Younger people perhaps. When older they will realise no need/no one to impress anymore.

That is exactly why, there are long queues.  Money is channeled into such things, basically frittered away.
Can afford $5 boba, $7coffee, etc…doesnt mean one has a mountain of cash behind.

Even i think twice about buying all these type of drinks.  Too much sugar and quite unhealthy.
i learnt from young not to fritter money.   Budget my spending. Necessities and savings ahead of junk.

look around your house and car, if you find a ton of nonsense which you dont use, you are guilty of frittering
