Thought the NX look like vacuum cleaner but this is worst then that 😅

The rear portion after C pillar still looks pretty similar to outgoing model.  The dashboards somehow reminds me of the BMW G20 pre-facelift.

Overall I think quite nice lah....

If you want to tell people you are rich or deep pocket, buy a Bentley Continental GT or Mercedes S500.

Audi is basically a Volkswagen.

Lexus has always been a division of Toyota Motor Inc.
In addition, TMAP being the importer of Lexus has the final said on what goes into log card.

If people would to pay so much higher to buy a Lexus but log card registered as Toyota, heart sure would feel a bit not that balance la, esp when others people tell them your Lexus is just a Toyota. Like atas car become like a B&B car. So i guess if people really want to feel atas and want to buy a luxury brand car, or those rich people, they might not want to buy Lexus, they would go for mercs and BMW. Unless that person is a supporter of Toyota cars or jap car, so they would choose Lexus than conti car. 😂

You want class. Go for S Class, 7 Series or Bentley.

Nothing wrong with buying Lexus over Toyota, or Audi over VW, as long it fit the bill (price, quality, etc.) of the buyer. 

I personally appreciate the choice of material and added refinement of say Lexus ES over the Camry, and likewise the better seat, features and handling of Q5 vs Tiguan. 

Honestly, I am quite sick of the debate / argument everytime when someone brought up the facts that Lexus is part of Toyota and Audi is under VAG group. Just buy what you like and am comfortable with, heck care about what others have to say, and least to justify until cow come home on your decision.

I drive Lexus, I know it is Toyota. I don't mind it is a Toyota and higher price tag. It is a much better build and quality as I have been driving Toyota for many many years and many models. Same, if you ask me to drive a Merc C, B, A class. I will tell you it is lower spec than my car. Yes, brand better. So if you want brand. Then buy the brand.

Agreed! No end to these silly statements about Lexus being a glorified Toyota! Platform sharing is common in the autoworld as every car maker seeks to amortise the enormous costs of developing new cars with all the strict safety and emission standards. Components and infortainment systems are also shared. The true separation of tuning of car feel and the choice of materials. It will only become worse as EVs gain popularity.

Heck, come to think of it, a RR Ghost is also a glorified 7-series, ain't it?

人各有志，we just do what we do. No need care what people say also. Love what you love. I have friends that drive Merc and convert to Lexus and vice versa or even to other brands lah. No comments also, never from me
