Do you guys mostly get it under contract or just buy the phone?

For me, I’ll buy a sealed set from the stores. After transferring over to new set , will sell off the old back to them.

So far, sim-only plan worked for me. I’m also not restricted and can change phone as and when (eg. No need every 2 years after contract end).

i believed it make sense to buy with contract of your mobile line is paid by company. I have friends who do that too.

Yah. My phone line paid by company.

Every 21 months I will renewed contract and get a new phone. Phone maybe pass to family member who has the oldest phone.

I've only bought and owned a flagship phone once in my life - the Samsung Galaxy S4 when it was released.  Donkey years ago.  All this while I've been using the mid range models or xiaomi or oppo.  Now using the Samsung A70

One major thing I like

I just plug in the new phone - a prompt to restore comes up and viola! My new phone is a mirror image of my old

with images, messages and all

love Apple 👍

waiting for 7 Sept to find out any useful incremental difference between iP13 vs iP14 before deciding....

truth be told, I am not sure what other incremental useful functions I need from my iP13 - phone, browser, camera, ApplePay, digital car key; these days, I just leave home with my phone and that is all I need 👍!

If you own a 13, it's probably ok to skip this one, IMO...

What kind of setup? Not really leh.

Just put the new phone next to the old phone, that’s it.

Pretty much. If you want. But not so slick.

Actually for android. I always find it better to have a clean boot. Your WhatsApp will update itself anyway. And Google account will do everything else important.

Different strokes for different folks.

I treat my phone more like a computer.

Then why change phone when everything is the same? Jk.

Changing phone is a good time to do housekeeping of information in phone. Especially photos and WhatsApp files.

When I transfer data to new phone, I will always uncheck the photos and videos box.
