I was watching this post-covid interview documentary, Singapore (and a few other countries) spent a few hundred millions to buy the rights to be among the first few in the Q to get the mRNA vaccine before it was proven to be effective! In the midst of covid, the gov rolled out packages costing billions to try to make livelihood possible. To save lives and livelihoods requires a lot of money, how much? Ordinary citizen like me probably don't know.
