in the past had feedback about their SMART/Guild system.. no matter what i said i got shot down.. I asked them if 3 lanes road.. one lane down due to accident left only 2 lanes how their system will react? will it increase the timing since now take longer to clear the 2 lanes traffic? or the system will shortened the timing since now the volume of traffic seem lower... No ans.... 

i hit the one at kheam hock road frequently. it is used to manage traffic flow. imagine you are a pesdestrian waiting to cross the road further down along kheam hock road and the stream of cars is never ending... how to cross...

In theory, to me smarter........ the OBU should not have a counter, this should be above the lights for all to see (don't take your eyes off the road to see the OBU), but all the clever <cough> OBU should communicate with each other, as a hive almost, then to central controller to use AI for forecasting traffic movements, the number of vehicles arriving at which lights, in which order, and timing lights to the benefit of the majority.

That said, it is also an enormous waste of money if Gov still pushes for autonomous EV in which case all EV will (should) operate on a hive network and eliminate the need for lights completely - by which time we are all continuously travelling at just 20kph 🙄

Luckily, I'll be dead by then.

How can check at peak time if working hour also 9am to 5/6pm?

During Dec 2020, I used to go to Bkt Timah Hill like 5:30am to clock elevation for virtual run.

By 7:30am, Bkt Timah Hill top already crowded with ppl.

Npark staff only appeared at the foot at 8am🤭

NParks staff unlock Rifle Range Nature Park gates at 7am, close again 7pm.

Nothing against FW, but FFS, needed now to open gates? We're supposed to be eliminating stupid tasks. It was office staff thought also this was a good idea 🤐

Multiple gates for PEOPLE, from Beauty World side...... I mean PEOPLE! FFS.

If I'm desperate I can still hop them but at the same time I think there is even a workaround off the Rifle Range Road main entrance where I don't remember seeing a gate. There are cameras anyway throughout RRNP - no idea what their tasked to do and, more importantly, who the heck is charged with overseeing them for what.
