Car servicing doesn't have to be great lah.. but I wan AD that will honour the warranty if something spoils, rather than finding excuses claiming this and that is wear and tear not covered by warranty etc...

This is why now AD can offers 7-10 years warranty also no scare, cause whether can claim or not, they cannot confirm.

Not sure if this is something most owners knew about. My family members were irritated by the constant beeping of the seatbelt warning for the back seas. So, they just plug in the seatbelt to silent it.

Then I get this notification on the dashboard on power hold and SOC 10% thing. Without truly understand it, I acknowledged. When I got out of the car, although the car lock, the Aircon and media continue to run. After doing some research, the 'Power hold' was meant for if driver leaves the car and passengers continue to stay inside, the Aircon and media can be switched on till battery reached 10%. Although my back seats were empty, due to the seatbelt, the car recognize them as seated. So need to watch out this. Hope it helps.

Similar issue on my Sealion. I plug in the rear belts permanently to disable the beep, but if the car detects the rear belt clipped in, will disable the easy-access feature where it moves the driver seat back for easier access when you unlock.

Indeed need time to learn new technology and their thinking. 😆 Honestly, the ideas are there, just need to adapt and understand how to max them.

This car is quite challenging turning tight older multi story car park ramp. Probably due to the width. Length wise doesn't seem that long but some car parks, I hard have much room for error.

Mini is the best for warranty claims.  At the end of 2nd year, I asked SA to check car battery.

Car battery was replaced under warranty.

but you pay huge markup. i think if i self import, and ownself warranty will still be cheaper.

Isn't this a good safety feature to have?

How to get older folks to buckle up. I get my kids to help them do it.

Indeed a good feature and we should make a point to practice it. It is just that sometimes, in our context, it is just less than 3 km from point A to B, we tends to feel unnecessary.

Lucky got the 360 camera lor. If not, some parking and tighter kerbs, I will also stress. Esp. since the rear visibility is KNS.

Very true, I am virtually inches away for both the front and back. Either my turning angle/radius is wrong or it is just like that. The 360 provides me the guide to go forward.

Buy some seatbelt buckle clips/extenders and plug them in so that the system will think that seatbelt is put on.

Yeah have thought of that too but currently just fasten the seatbelt also work the same. For distance driving, still better to buker-up

Many people buy first then see later if they can handle the car or not. Lol.

Looks like Sealion 7 no problem for many people, since you see tons of Sealion 7 on the road.

You are driving Aion V? Nowadays most cross over and SUV, They have wide width which indeed quite stressful to maneuver in some carparks. Your driving skills must be perfect, if just a little bit out, your car would get scratches or dents.

Yes just got it recently. Length wise it is about the same as my previous one, Mazda 3. However, it is wider and higher. I think a little more practice to get use to. Older car park are generally narrower and parking space with columns including those with hose reel are to avoid.
