If i need to go to MBS Grand Ballroom, which carpark shd i park at?

 

At the MBS Hotel's, or the Marina Bay Convention Centre's?

 

I would like to park at the one where the rate is $6 per entry after 6pm on weekday.

you will park at the self-parking area which is below the convention centre and the shopping mall.

I would valet park. It's the most convenient.

 

For self parking, it's $6 for the 1st hour, then $1 per subsequent 1/2 hour, and capped at $26.

 

Valet is $12 flat after 7pm.

 

Say you park for 3.5 hours, it's $11.

 

Valet is $12.

 

The $1-2 more for valet parking is totally worth it. It's very efficient too. You car will usually appear in less than 5 mins.

Yes, that's rite... MBS hotel side, valet parking is easy & cost effective!

Unless you don't mind walking, I think there is an open carpark before the Convention Centre...

Is the self park entrance similar to the valet park entrance, which is right in front of the hotel main lobby?

 

I thought for self park, after 6pm is already $6 per entry?

if you are going to mice, it would be the self park at the shopping area. Hotel doesnt have self park.. its all valet. the only self park is at MICE and shopping mall area. you go in from the side road just beside the expo centre.

Anyone familiar with MBS carpark? After big event when everyone will go off around the same time, what's the best suggestion to avoid being too caught up in jams both within the carpark (from parking lot to the exit), as well as getting stuck in the slip road before even reaching the main road (Bayfront Ave)?

Event is at convention centre.

I did a quick search, and see that South Entrance is nearer, but if need be, i can walk to North if it's likely less crowded.

BTW, how many exits are there? Also exit at the entrances (North & South)?

Take MRT best.

Park at the nearby large open air car park. Easy in and out. Can walk to convention centre via pleasant path beside the water. Parking rate much cheaper too.

If major events at MBS, that car park also quite full.

Unless I get complimentary ticket, usually I will just park Suntec/Millenia and take MRT one station down. Usually quieter too.

Anyway,due to very Warm Weather,People here,won't like to walk so far,if the Weather,is 15-18°c,i tell you,many can walk further than that.

no shelter from open air carpark to MBS leh.. if rain after event then stuck inside mbs

Actually it's just D&D lah. But still likely gonna be crowded.

got complimentary parking, so am thinking of parking there... just trying to find better/best place to park within the MBS carpark, which will be least jammed when exiting.
