Super7 Turbocharged September 18, 2002 Share September 18, 2002 hi Jman888, really like your nick: some more got 888 the grounding is really unlikely to cause any side effects if my secondary school physics lessons are anything to go by... so this is one doubt removed. next, the magnets: what harm can it do to our engine? it's not goin to physically add anything to the fuel which goes into the engine, it's juz rearranging the composition of it (in a very minute way) so to speak.... speaking for my old dog (the 73 celica), if it benifits so obviously from them, i am confident to stick with both thingys and enjoy the added performance ..... cheers ↡ Advertisement
Cool Neutral Newbie September 18, 2002 Author Share September 18, 2002 Hi YSFoo. Jman is talking on BRoquet where he does not want to cut fuel line. You wrong frequency lar.. anyway, I advise Jman to do his grounding after his car run in on the 10,000km.. else, he won't appreciate the after vigra effects !! He has done the Gavinizers and is already saving fuel consumption hehhehehe

We all know the MCF garage has a lot to offer , so just tried the magnet first. Knowing Regent is very strict on their waranty so cannot play play to much . Took Cool advise and wait for a while. Overall can't complain much about the Focus . Edited September 18, 2002 by Jman888
Vtim 3rd Gear September 18, 2002 Share September 18, 2002 Hi Cool, It's been more than a week with the Gavinizers installed. I can actually felt that there is more 'urgency' & willingness during pick-up However, I don't think there is any improvement in mileage as it's 70% City & 30% H/W driving for me & also due to my heavy right foot . Lester Neutral Newbie September 18, 2002 Share September 18, 2002 Hi Johnnie. How's your superfuelmax? Using Gavinisers as well? Lester
Vtim 3rd Gear September 18, 2002 Share September 18, 2002 Hi Lester, Throttle response did improve slightly with the Superfuelmax. However, after adding the Gavinisers, it got more responsive as compare to just only the Superfuelmax . Johnny
Guyver 1st Gear September 18, 2002 Share September 18, 2002 Cool... juz a thought...would your magnet work with broquet ? missed the 'power' feeling not willing to sell broquet as would not believe that could get good price for it, still tempted to try both magnet and broquet. I think.. if u are serious in letting go... can try for about $200.... and if should u want to let go... let me know.. got 5 person on my list who called me for it.... and guess what.. i got to turn them down..... But i was glad to get it out... and spend the $$ else where...
Guyver 1st Gear September 18, 2002 Share September 18, 2002 Yah.... agree with u.... my previous tank with the magnets is ok... probably due to my light foot..... this current tank.... i'm heavier on my foot... so it seems that the fuel consumption will be poorer..... yet to see... will feedback again. Cool Neutral Newbie September 18, 2002 Author Share September 18, 2002 Wah lao.. pick up good so you must light foot to compensate the fuel economy. Does not mean it response faster you must wack harder to race mah !! Normally, grounding and the gavinizers work better together to get stable results. Wanna try grounding ?? Cool Neutral Newbie September 18, 2002 Author Share September 18, 2002 Super fuel max.. hmmmm.... (no comments !!) Follow Beam, throw out his fuel max and only kept the casing to house the gavinizers !!
Mondeo Neutral Newbie September 18, 2002 Share September 18, 2002 The resort I stay, do have much Bikini . should have chosen Redang Reef or Redang Coral, then got many many . Ooopsss. Side track from topic... Where have your been, Bro?
Zrun Neutral Newbie September 18, 2002 Share September 18, 2002 I've received my "wonder magnets"... Size slightly smaller than the cadbury's chocolate bar. About 1" x 1.5", its stronger than any magnet I've ever seen... I stuck one on the refrigerator door, and I have no way of pulling it off, other than sliding to the sides.. It can withstand about maybe 25 kg of force if stuck surface to surface with metal... I've 4.. wrapped them up in paper, and stuck 2 on oil filter, and 2 on fuel rails.. Since people are talking about it now... I followed some website's instruction to put it after the fuel filter, and with opposing poles to each other, tied down with rubber band.. (I don't trust rubber bands, I'll change it shortly) If I have to comment on feelings, it feels smooth, and acceleration is about 90% of the range I've got in different temperature/conditions.. Anyway, I won't count on it for power, since a bad tank of gas will cause all the difference in high compression engine.. I think mine is 10.1:1. Hopefully the economy increase. [reply] pick up good, respond good... tat's why must step harder to see how good, how far & roughly to know where is the limit mah, especially if it is just installed. my gaviniser & grounding, b4 the 1st top up gas, i tried the respond & the power when there is opportunity to wack a little bit. no choice lah, u got to know the limit so as u can control ur car better . not to worry, trial period over liao. consumption.... to compare with my average of previous 5-6 top up, there is no different, think b'cos of my trial . will update on the following progress. Cool Neutral Newbie September 19, 2002 Author Share September 19, 2002 So... you promised not to wack but you failed... cannot resist POWER !!! The amazing thing is that you wack the pedal but fuel consumption still same as before ?? That shows a little economy and how you control yourself with POWER !! hahahhaha.. Long time no hear from you.. how have you been.. taking on other rollas on the road ??
Hitman Neutral Newbie September 19, 2002 Share September 19, 2002 Careful there Guyverman ... Heavy foots mean fast accelerations and with the 16 inch rims .... you'd blow the competition away .... with magnets - you'll be flying soon in that Corona.
