Tks guys for the info. Is the sequence below correct for the process?

1. Shampoo wash & clay bar

2. Dry

3. Apply Fusso Coat sealant, after 24 hours....

4. Apply Authentic Premium wax.

Hi...just want to check something......

When we apply the Fusso Coat Sealent, we need to wait 24 hours to set in right....

Can we drive the car in the meantime or advisable not due to dust/dirt/rain when driving??

Anyway, which place offers cheapest for soft99 product.....??

No feedback??

Regarding Soft99 wax,I've always been wondering the difference between wax for light colour car and dark colour car AND metallic ones [dizzy][sweatdrop]

yes popok, you use the wax last...wait at least 24 hours after fusso before putting on wax. This is to ensure proper curing/bonding of the sealant to the paint. It's not advisable to put on wax BEFORE fusso as the sealant will not be able to bond properly and hence affecting durability.

me went to autobacs, no more fusso9 sealant and pure authentic wax...anywhere lse i can get them on sunday tomorrow??

No, after clay can use already. fusso is an additional step

for most people, a sealant or wax as the final step is enuf. but for the real enthusiast they like to apply the sealant and later coat a layer of wax on it. so which way u want to go is up to you.

DOes new car need to apply the sealant or juz the wax is enuff??Mine is black in colour..

[sweatdrop]

It's up to you whether 1.you apply wax 2.sealant 3.sealant + wax

But if I got a black car, I would use pure carnauba wax for depth and wetness

that only wax can give you.

ps: I never like the supplied foam applicator that comes with soft99 wax, 'I' find them too umm rough and afraid it'll cause scratch on the paint when applying wax.

Popok I quote Leonknapp

These products can be found at AutoAcc (The old Autobacs Building) and AutoBacs. The sealant can be found at Stamford tyres also. Fusso 9 months is like a pure sealant so if u looking for some cleaning power u can try the Fusso 7 Months. But note that the 7 Month and 12 Month Fusso coats will haze and need to be buff

U will not need it initally loh...

but after sometime on the road there bound to be dirty loh...

just make sure u wash the car first then use a sponge with soap and use the claybar together...

make sure the surface u go over has the sampoo and is not dry surface if not u will surly damage the surface...

hope this will help...

cheers

Thanks for the reply bro. [thumbsup]

There is actually few types of Authentic. Titanium($16.50), Silver($16.50), gold, premium and excellent.

Mine a yellow car....which is more suitable??

How may times can the wax last on average....??

honestly, other than the premium and excellent i have no idea how good the rest are. but they are sure much cheaper. [sweatdrop] 1 application can last about a month but if it rains alot then maybe less.

Cheers!

heard that those with white wax like gold and silver premium are the best compare with the cheaper ones. [;)]
