same same, I don't wash the car right after driving, always wait for it to cool down first, I don't think it's good to expose the warm/hot carbody to sudden cooling (from water)

Hi guys,

I chanced upon this interesting discussion while searching

for Soft99 application info.

I hv check wif autoacc, and they advise tat fusso is meant

to replace wax, and using a layer of one over the another

actually defeat the purpose. but i guess it's up to personal

preference. they also advise to use a damp cloth for easy buffing.

i hv bou authentic gold from autobac @ $18.50, and found autoacc

offer @ $20 less 10% ie $18(all soft99 is less 10% now).

Help needed:

Please advise how to remove scratches caused by claybar? Although

i used lots of soapy water and wet claybar, i still managed to scratch

my car May be applied to much force?

Yup Fusso and Authentic are substitutes. Its just that detail siao pple like me find that the combination yields better results than the individual products alone. You bought Authentic gold? Give us a field report if possible. most of us went with the authentic premium which costs $33.

 

Use ur car shampoo solution as a lubricant. basically just use the same stuff u wash ur car with. Also claybars are slightly abrasive so minor scratches will appear. A coat of polish will hide the minor scratches.

i got the gold coz it suppose to give the 'wet' look.

found shine better than black magic, although only my underwear

got wet after all the works.

i guess sunny paint not metallic so can't get the 'look'.

anyway, will try the krizz clear swirl mark remover tommorrow. then wax again to c result.

no need to wear underwear mah when waxing ,

btw what colour is your ride? I find the 'wet' look is more apparent for dark colour even from my steelblue (metallic) paint. I got trade secret wax from the States and after the 2nd layer, it darkened my paint and leaving it very wet ( I can see the difference from when I applied once only).

black, the authentic gold did darken the shade though.

Got the fusso 12 months for dark from autoacc. 9 months no stock for dark. Did the 12 months after an hour continue with authentic premium wax. Result were great.

 

Questions.

 

12 Months does not provide colth but two sponges. Why and how should it be used?

Since 12 months needs to be buffed. Should it be left to bond for 24 hours?

Residues(Powder Like) from the buffing were experienced. Did I do something wrong?

No nothings wrong. 12 months requires buffing unlike 9 months that does not. Application is very simple apply the fusso to the whole car then buff off., let it dry completely for easy removal. Yes i suggest u let the 12 months bond for at least 6 hours before going on to authentic. I bought the 12 months paste version and it came with only one sponge. not sure why the liquid comes with 2. anyway note that 12 months and 9 months are pure sealants. if ur paint requires cleaning or polishing u must do it before applying the 12 months.

Thanks. BTW the buffing was pretty tiring. The turnoff on Soft99 products will be the need to allow paint bonding which takes up to 24 hours.

youneed to leave it alone for 24hrs before putting on wax on top of it, any contact with water or wax before then will diminish the durability

I thought letting it dry up would be very difficult to buff off?

As for the sponge, use the hard side for applying and soft side (I use mircofiber cloth instead) to buff off?

Hello. I have applied the fusso 9 mths thinly. Can i apply another layer over it? Maybe after half a day or so, so to maximise the shine, as well as touch up some part that i may have miss out.
