Sorry, check with you.....

You had been using the authentic wax....when you apply the 12 months, did you remove the wax?

I think using the 12 months should be sufficient.... [sly] Damn smooth feeling! [thumbsup]

Fusso 12mths is supposed to be put on a clean surface , if put on a wax it may look good (or not) but one thing is for sure, the durability will be compromised.

Don't think mama lemon will remove the existing sealant...(not sure bout wax)

Maybe can try some chemical cleaner like AIO or something from Meguiar

ok....will try it! [nod]

SO using normal car detergent will not get rid of the wax right? [gossip]

Branded car shampoo is usually ph7 (neutral) and should not strip the existing wax . As for dish washing liquid, "I personally" do not recommend due to it being alkaline, hence not friendly to rubber and plastic components. To each his own I would say [scholar]

1. Kizz Clear

Wash entire car and remove all water residue. Shake well bottle and take liquid onto sponge. Apply as evenly as possible by small section (EX 50 x 50 cm). Immediately buff off by clean soft dry cloth. Repeat the same course to finish entire car body.

When I did soft99 12 months, the car was dry but hot (just came out from hot sun) after washing it was still warm.....then when I applied the 12 months, it streaked! [sweatdrop] Wah....wipe it arm almost came off!

So please wait till your car body is cool then apply the 12 months....and from the look of things, most of Soft products require a cool body. [thumbsup]

Not just soft99. in fact all waxes require a cool body for proper application and removal. The only polymer sealant i know that can be applied in the sun is Mothers Reflections and to some extent zaino.

Dude, just on the Soft99 Authentic wax alone, without sealant or other special care, how long you'd think the beading will last? [;)]

I've been kinda lazy. 5 weeks since the last wax? [:/] Can't feel the wax anymore, but hey, its still beading. [laugh][laugh][laugh][laugh][laugh]

But even after you wash the car, the temperature is not cool enough? [sweatdrop]

Wah, black car under the hot sun......I think can only wash when my car is parked in the multistory for 1/2 day.... [sunny]

actually my cars black too and after a wash the surface is already cool. But I do raise the bonnet after drying the car to air the engine and allow the bonnet to cool.

If u satisfied with the paint condition go ahead and add another coat of wax! [:)] With all waxes the smoothness disappears after the first wash but it is still protecting.

Cheers!
