That must be very good feeling for a good car at cheap price.

 

I will check out some tyre shop too. I know Autopoint and Bukit batok all got tyre shop.

As you see it will look good using thin spoke. But be sure that strong enough.

I just check one shop near my office. The 15" rim + tyre is about (95+105)*4 -200)=600 after trading your old one. The rim is from taiwan not so branded.

This rim i saw at stamford is light for a 16". cast rim, thus not very ex. but the spoke is very thin, but has a 650kg rating. tyre also quite good looking. but I just scare it iwll look weird after installing it. FC should increase coz of the wider tracks. but weight wist, the rim is about the same as our existing black steel hub. This car is start to get poisonous. Ohhh, bad FC, bad for pocket.

I getting my rims from stamford also. TSW.

Went all the way to the loyang branch because I knew the manager there.

So no scared kana [smash] .

If you want to get rims there, best go during weekday not so busy.

You can actually drive into the shop, you can choose the rim you want and they will put it next to your vehicle to let you see whether it look good a not.

My friends Optra5 also went there to get his new tires. He got the ContiPremiumContact.

Did not change his rims. Just got the tires. But he very happy with them.

Say quiet and very responsive.

I have took almost the entire bottle of 100% toxin poison already. but I stick back to 15" after long consideration. Stamford is mainly selling the more upmarket rims, or big size. their 15" are mostly heavy (except the forge rims) compare to taiwan rims from outside shops, so I went to a good lobang intro by a brudder to get it change. using dunlop 702 now and a 10 spoke HB 5kg rim <- very light without the thinesss to make it light weight, nice. There is a sense of joy to look at the car now. Now all that is left is a nice pair of horns.

 

SO you change already ?

 

ANyway, latest FC

 

425 km, full tank at 45L, FC = 9.4km/l

Fuel guage at empty, but E light never come on, Guage is 100% confirm got problem.

I told encik I may not be able to go and gave him a size. Coz today having lunch with parents and their friends. But lets say can finish early, I may pop over, but most likely that will be on the near 4pm range.

Ku niang. My SE informed me today that shipment delayed again. Now need to wait for beginning of next month to get my wagon.

Sians, see everyone happy driving their new Chevy, me still in my bearing sounding, driveshaft clicking, water leaking Renault. [:(]

beginning of next month is very near la. little patient goes a long way. else like me, get car early, fuel guage problem, tyre leaking, air con not cold, interior light intermintent. [laugh] unless you like me chin chai chin chai, else you will [furious][furious][furious][laugh][laugh][laugh] But despite all this problem, you will love the car, trust me. [inlove]

All like that, SW always have to wait. Last time I even want to take the showroom one but they said they got problem want to repair.

 

But you won't disapointed once you got car. You'd better change the rim. This car is heavy and pickup is not so obvious. After I changed, it feel even better.

 

You got free V-cool! that is better than my offer. Can ask some t-shirt or freebies. I regret not ask for it.

 

BTW, what color of yours?

I went servicing the other day, saw a new silver color wagon and a few other color there without car plate, but which date you suppose to get ? wat he/she tell you, is it haven't arrived or now pending paperwork ? This car can upmarket quite easily. reason,

 

1, i think things will spoil quite fast or not ideal when stock, so you will change better parts one way or another [laugh][laugh]

 

2, estate car normally eludes a class above normal cars (althou we know that is not true in the case of this chevy) dress up a bit, you will feel very good about it.

Say the shipment only coming in 24th April.

There was one silver but no auto side mirror. SE said that one older.

So must wait for next shipment.
