ahhh, dun be decieved, its make lousy so you can upgrade base on your own preference

 

a, wing mirror I think if you buy, the come in one has the same color as the body, mine is

 

b, it look lousy coz its stock,, the black and grey are all blurr blurr color and I must say em slops at lengkee people did not put in effort to shine the car properly. Me and my armorall has make the strip shiny black, nicer than silver.

 

c, foglight is $180. now got lamp stock (coz same as sedan) but no wiring harness yet, need to wait.

 

d, chevy original rim is heavy, but durable I presume. best is get after market, get something that you like and light weight. of course, you can always press the Sales person to offer it as freebee if you decide to sign the paper.

 

e. test car available at ubi only.

 

f: the showroom has no electric mirror, if you order, it comes electric.

 

You can always spot my car at ubi. Its quite nicely put together so far. besides the usual and not so usual small issue, you can fall in love with it easily.

seem like the clip on need to have an original roof rail running along the body first. the pic quite blurr. But dun think need that extra carrying capacity on top. but chop accross the roof type like not as nice as running along the side ones.

No new/re-wiring required right? ... jus remove pipi horn and replace with stebel .... bad phobia wenever need to tingle with wiring

blizt or something like tat but there is only one car shop, and its at the side of the building, u will usually see a few car there pasting stickers. Its along the way out. as for wiring works, the hard part is still to gain access to the pipi, this varies from car to car. they will need to cut, strip, crimp and change the pipi connector to the stebel ones. I dun know, in the right hands it may be easy, but I guess I am too stupid in electrical works and I find it a pretty big job went and did with a friend, his pipi cannot take out as it is well hidden, and they dun want to take out the bumper, so have a hell time trying to get their hands on the wiring.

hi guys, i went to the leng kee showroom. the wagon on display is very basic. like:

 

a. wing mirrors are black plastic, no colour .

asked the sales guy about (b) whether can change to silver, he asked around & then said cannot. fog lights quite cheap, $100+ he said.

Why change the horn, I seldom use it. I'd prefer to change a component speaker or other stuff, which use so oftern once you are in car.

I was thinking of roof rack when got car, since all other wagon have. But found it no use at all, but much easy clean, no drag, more like car.

That is one problem with the Chevy vehicle. All of them have no provision for Roof Racks even on the Station Wagon. I think it is like that on the Jap cars also . What a pity !

 

Got a nice travel box from my previous Opel car which I cannot make use of.

My wagon just came into the country. Hopefully can get next week.

My SE asked me whether want to wait another month.

Said next batch of wagons got roof rack and fog lights, but need $1000 more.

I said no as I think it is too much for them. Anyway no use for roof rack for me.

Maybe fog lights I can install next time, but should be much cheaper.

Keeping fingers crossed hopefully no more delay.

Well, roof racks on an estate is pretty much desired since the buyer already intended it to be some kind of hauler. IMHO, people who buy estates need a hauler but stop short of getting an MPV.

Try got a component speaker which 100-300 depend on your budge. The car already have the tweeter holder but no speaker. It will be much better than stock one.

 

Original is 5" one, I changed to Lanzar 6" with tweeter cost at 260, don't know whether it is cheap. But sound much better. See a chance got a woofer

You should try the Optra twin horns ! They are super loud ! Mounted mine in front of the opening in the bumper facing the open road ! Will blow off the front car's bumper off literally !

 

Alternatively, can get those super loud horns at Autobacs ! The Gariot Air Horn is nice and loud and price at only $38/-

$1k for roofrack and fog light, effectively, roof rack is 800+. crazy. but one thing i feel, roof rack best is still come from assembly rather later do drill hole. fog light is about prices as the sedan, $180+. This one must put, it enhances look Now waiting for wiring harness to come along. then will go SA do up the fog light.

Horn must change. The pi pi cannot make it and it sound very hostile. conti style horn is more gracious, sometimes wait for people or want to sound off a friendly horn, its very useful.

Mine is component is blaupunkt 6". but change the head unit first, that alone will make a difference already.
