tgb 2nd Gear February 1, 2016 Share February 1, 2016 One of the PIs (who was selling at one of the cheapest price back then) told me the delivery of their Vezel was about end March this year when I asked them during beginning of last September. When I asked them about this TCOE expiry, they said they have way to get it re-instated since there is delay in delivery from car manufacturer.. I wondered why big players like Car Times, Hup Long, able to deliver the car to me way earlier than I want. In the end I did not go for this particular PI in Ubi Automobile Megamart located at Level 1. I still get my ride much earlier and safer. Scout around to ask more questions and you will know who is treating you like a fool and who is truly doing their best in the deal. ↡ Advertisement
trajet2b 4th Gear February 1, 2016 Share February 1, 2016 Ordering and buying cars from PIs really sounds so unrealiable. Can come out with all sorts of tricks to ask u topup blahblah.. sine ur tcoe has expired, so what to do next?? Appealing to reinstate the tcoe?? Aiya not i wan burst bubble, but once expired means expired, slim chance.good luck.lol. When u booked ur vezel though?? Which month last yr? So long hven come ah.lol good luckkkk This is not true. LTA do allow for extension of TCOE.
trajet2b 4th Gear February 1, 2016 Share February 1, 2016 Hi all, I am looking at Vezel to replace my current car. It appears that "A Asset Automobile" is offering 91,888 for version X. anyone has deal with them before? I am not able to find any review on this PI. Also, the other PI I am looking at is M9 which is 95,888... Thanks for any advice given. From reading another post A Asset $91,888 is with a coe cap at $40K. The way is see it as $91,888 -$40K = $51,888 which is not as cheap as what you might have thought. Only if you are lucky then you can get at $91.8K but it is cheap due to COE not body price. _h_r_ 2nd Gear February 1, 2016 Share February 1, 2016 (edited) Hi, I get mine from A Asset, the boss is friendly, able to explain for u everything that u don't understand. Please note that the COE for S$91 888 is set at 40K. Take PI "guaranteed COE" with pinch of salt. PI 1 bid guaranteed COE does not mean guaranteed COE during the upcoming COE bidding. It may mean guaranteed COE eventually with 1 bid by the PI, which may be several months later. Once the PI takes your deposit, all kinds of pattern will appear. $40K COE means that the PI will only pay $40K for the COE and nothing more. If you need the vehicle urgently and need the PI to bid higher, you will need to top up the difference. It's as simple as that. The PI will not earn less just because you want him to deliver the car to you at an earlier date. Once the PI takes your $15K deposit and you sign on for the $40K COE, he will not bid higher unless you top up. Calvy 1st Gear February 1, 2016 Share February 1, 2016 I asked before in this thread, didn't get response but guess I just try my luck again.... Anyone tried Xando? Understand that it is some additive to the engine oil and it will lubricate the engine and pick up will be smoother hence forth.... Is that true? Anyone tried any additives before? The only thing I added to mine is only simple Magnetic Shades and Pedal covers... haha.. Thinking of improving it further...

If you go through the Honda user manual, they would discourage you to use any additives in engine oil. sometimes it is better to keep it simple. but hey its your money you can do what you want with your car. :)
JJaassoonn 1st Gear February 1, 2016 Share February 1, 2016 The steering wheel audio control will work with most HU. Dun think there will be any problems. Just go and install. I had fix my steering wheel audio control at SgGarage last Thursday. Now i can adjust the Volume & sources without looking at the HU.

LYC 3rd Gear February 1, 2016 Share February 1, 2016 These PI seem to be offering the lowest price. My advise. Read up this thread to find pointers as to better negotiate with them. Don't narrow your search to the lowest price offered. The subsequent add on will still push up the overall price. What I have done was to check on those Vezel(or other PI vehicle make) already on the road ( carpark). From the licence plate you can see the PI company name. The car might carry the PI name on the carplate holder, but that doesn't equate to the owner having a good or smooth buying experience.

True, but it shows that the PI did deliver. And of course this should only be one of many factors that we consider when buying a PI car. And personally, if I had a horrible experience at a PI, I would change the carplate holder, because (a) I wouldn't want to see that PI's name everyday, and (b) I'm definitely not going to do free advertising for them

My neighbour had a super bad experience with their PI and yes their carplate still has the PI's name and number...
Kopites Supersonic February 1, 2016 Share February 1, 2016 The car might carry the PI name on the carplate holder, but that doesn't equate to the owner having a good or smooth buying experience. Well easy solution. Like me a bit thick skìn. Stick around for the owner to appear. A few praises on the car and you can strike up a simple conversation. Target must be male driver. Hahaha After doing those carpark survey 2,3 PI name appeared frequently across few make of PI vehicles. Yes we can get pointers from forum but nothing beat face to face chat. I have done my homework. Hope everything work out fine in April when I collect my Vezel.

Just felt the initial acceleration can be smoother... can hear the engine roar for it to pick up to 40km/h or so... unless of coz I go low on rev, then it won't sound so heavy.... but well overall it is still a huge upgrade from my previous Jazz... hoho Congrats to all who got the Vezel.. personally feel its an awesome car..... The car might carry the PI name on the carplate holder, but that doesn't equate to the owner having a good or smooth buying experience. on the contrary.. my car did not carry my PI name.. (I requested to remove it)... but I am those fortunate ones to go through a really nice no frills buying experience..hehe... Hup Long is one with very good track record. but they carry mostly X model only. Price not so cheap but i guess pay a bit more for a piece of mind. I did not get from them as i bought S model.
