[Error] Mazda & Vezel Thread

These PI seem to be offering the lowest price. My advise. Read up this thread to find pointers as to better negotiate with them. Don't narrow your search to the lowest price offered. The subsequent add on will still push up the overall price.

What I have done was to check on those Vezel(or other PI vehicle make) already on the road ( carpark). From the licence plate you can see the PI company name.

Thanks for the advise. i am checking on the thread for a few days already. cant read it all in a few days.

Will check the PI name for the vezel at my carpark

Hi, I get mine from A Asset, the boss is friendly, able to explain for u everything that u don't understand. Please note that the COE for S$91 888 is set at 40K.

Thanks for the information. I did receive a call from Andrew and he said wait till the next COE and see how for the pricing. Overall, M9 is offering sportrims but not Asset.

From reading another post A Asset $91,888 is with a coe cap at $40K.

The way is see it as $91,888 -$40K = $51,888 which is not as cheap as what you might have thought.

Only if you are lucky then you can get at $91.8K but it is cheap due to COE not body price.

Agree that the price of the car is at 51,888 but other PI is priced at 53k to 58k...

Of course they might have additional gadgets but installing the gadgets ourselves can be another hobby :D

Thanks for the reply, trajet2b...

Just felt the initial acceleration can be smoother... can hear the engine roar for it to pick up to 40km/h or so...

unless of coz I go low on rev, then it won't sound so heavy....

but well overall it is still a huge upgrade from my previous Jazz... hoho

Congrats to all who got the Vezel.. personally feel its an awesome car.....

on the contrary.. my car did not carry my PI name.. (I requested to remove it)... but I am those fortunate ones to go through a really nice no frills buying experience..hehe...

Thanks to Melvincyc for the recommendation very much earlier on in the forum....

Cool bro... New car...new headaches....scare door dents...muts park far far away .. hehe

Yes, the sound insulation on Hondas are hardly luxurious... but there are some ways to improve. Another issue is the rocky suspension which can be resolved by quite a fair bit with another mod. Interested to know PM me and I can share with you.

Bro you're still in here! haha

thought you might not be checking on this forum since then...

Thanks again man for the recommendation...

yeah heard so much comments about the insulation and suspension....

I did consider sound proofing and the rigid collars like many bros recommend... but actually I still can survive with the so-called "poor insulation and suspension"....

Bro is there a formula for calculating body price? Across all makes and models?

Omv + Coe + etc etc?

Bro is there a formula for calculating body price? Across all makes and models?

Omv + Coe + etc etc?

I ever saw bro rationalexhuberence detailed breakdown on the costs involved.

any way here are some general info.

This is just a general estimation.

Of course PI need to earn money, they are not a charity organization.

If not, why open a shop.

OMV is determined by our Customs based on data provided by PI upon import.

lets say if customs determined OMV to be $20K

since OMV is $20K that means car value is at $20K ($20K and below ARF=100%)

You can simply say the car cost PI $40K not inclusive other tests, registration and misc cost..etc

Add Customs duty + gst around $7K

Total = $47K (not inclusive other tests, registration and misc cost..etc)

X CEV rebate is $10K

This is offset from the ARF payment upfront.

again simply put $47K (car body + ARF+ Duty Tax) - $10K CEV Rebate = $37K actual cost to PI (not inclusive other tests, registration and misc cost..etc)

From here you can see roughly how much an X will break even.

Like i've mentioned earlier, last Jan X body can be had for $46K that is already factored in the profit for PI.

Not forgetting the Finance and Insurance comissions

Depending on the COE agreement, they can earn from here too.

You are one lucky guy. Enjoy your ride.

Hup Long is one with very good track record. but they carry mostly X model only.

Price not so cheap but i guess pay a bit more for a piece of mind.

I did not get from them as i bought S model.

What's the difference between x and s?

Using Primacy 3ST replaced the stock noisy Dunlop Sportmaxx 050.

The ST stands for Silent Tune which was specially developed for less noise and for summer....made in Thailand though.

Hi all,

I ordered my honda vezel last yr from a certain PI.

Unfortunately, the car just complete inspection by LTA but my TCOE has expired.

The PI says they are appealing to reinstate the TCOE so that the car can be registered.

Can anyone here advise whether LTA do grant such appeals and how long does the appeal take?

Thank you very much!

I hope all will work out well for you eventually.

LTA use to do batch approval for cars undergoing inspection I am told by my PI.

But they somehow change the system.

Now those who want to buy car must have the contract written clearly.

Guaranteed COE + Guaranteed Car Delivery with Registration WITHIN COE EXPIRY PERIOD

..  Guaranteed COE Not good enough

.. Guaranteed Delivery Not Good Enough.

I hope this will then resolve this proble,

I know some PI have  cars , but appproval still WIP.. So got to be careful

The PI i bought from only bid for COE once thie cars are approved. He has cars waiting for approval.. so will not bid for coe.. They just collect orders

Sorry if this has been asked.

May I know if the Vezel Hybrid is a Cat A or Cat B vehicle.

Are there any concerns for the Hybrid model among the current owners?

Thank you in advance.
