The partnered accessories guy for my PI told me that the USB port (below the gear and beside the HDMI) does not come with charging capability as PI ordered the car without head unit.

Therefore the USB cable isn't connected to the head unit and charging wire inside the center console. Lots of BS given by them..

Thought of using the USB port to power the car dash cam when I'm driving, my car dash cam isn't 24/7. Not sure if it's possible though..

Yes, by default, those USB ports are not connected. Depending on your HU, you may get workshop to connect one or 2 usb port to your HU but the power will be limited to 500mA. Alternatively, you can get workshop such as Sggarage to help to modified the USB ports to provide charging at 1A or 2A.

so far like just marginal FC difference compared to normal.

shall continue testing both mode to compare.

Been driving for 4 months.

Have never crossed 14km/l before.

Wonder how some can achieve much higher FC

Can the lower part of the left mirror be remove? TB only sell those blue wide angle mirror of the same size for both side.

No, it cannot be removed. The entire left wing mirror have to be replaced if you prefer full mirror, and it cost about $400 plus.

How is the HRV vs Vezel? Can see more HRV on the road.

The HRV is now the same as vezel.  Maybe only cosmetic and accessories differences between the two

Isn't a car dash cam powered by the cigarette lighter instead? I don't remember dash cams being powered by the USB port.

I'm getting my car tmr so I'll test it out and let you guys know.

Thought the USB port is similar to those on the computers/laptops, can used for powering the dash cam haha. Enjoy your ride bro! Cheers.

Thanks bro, saw some forumers saying it's 0.5A. Ended up using the cigarette charging outlet to charge phone and power dash cam.

Yes bro, this is what he meant, it's true that the one provided by HU(mine is 5850) isn't strong enough to power the USB port. Have to mod the USB port to provide charging capability. Thanks bro.

Thanks for the info. Btw, how to remove the mirror? I see some catches at the back of the mirror. The black catch holding to the white bracket. Just use force?

Also hrv dx confirmed no tweeter.

Anyone knows is the HDMI cable allows interaction with the HU? It seems to only project my phone's screen and that's it; I can't interact it on the HU itself.

Hi,

Some questions here:-

- What is the distance between your Vezel and the object in front before CTBA get activated?

- Why CTBA does NOT get activated when you drive towards a wall in a carpark (as close as 30 cm)?

- Why CTBA does NOT get activated during parallel parking?

- When approaching a carpark gantry at a upslope, CTBA will get activated and engine get cut off, next the car will roll backwards, how do you  handle this situation?

Thanks in advance!

I'm also wondering the same thing. I got my car today and was testing out the CTBA. It doesn't seems to work for my car as well. Almost collided with a car Infront trying to test it.

Distance between your Vezel and the front obstacles varies according to your speed that you travel. For eg, like what you and another bro mentioned, I also did tried driving slowly and inching forward to the front car but CTBA was not activated at all.

However, I experienced the CTBA twice recently, got the warning sound and flashing icon, but not the automatic braking yet. Happens when I'm traveling at around 60 to 70km/h. The front car braked suddenly and the warning/flashing occur.

In short, it only works when they deemed that your vehicle is in a high chance of collision with the obstacle.

I noticed CTBA doesn't get activated when brake are applied.

2 occasions I usually get CTBA:

At carpark gantry, driving through it the moment the arm starts going up. That's when CTBA kicks in and my brakes get clamped hard and I hear a loud grinding sound.

Moving off from traffic when the car in front is deemed to be too near.
