I didn't know that KM's SE have to play dirty tricks by create uncertain situation in order to get sales from potential buyer.

Nah bro, they have their hands full selling.. they may not be your medical social worker, but they aren't really free enough to bad mouth the others out there.

The HRV is selling nicely.. and if the 1.6l Civic continues to drop in price, they have another winner, even if the engine is old and the plastics are not up to the 8th gen in quality.. at the end of the day, it's a Honda!

Neutral Newbie

The HRV LX deal my buddy got:

112k

Minus 1k for previous Honda owner

2 years free insurance

Free Vcool

DVR

Free servicing 3 years

Managed to secure the COE last week, delivery November

The paperwork alone will not take longer than a week, even including car inspection. But you should check with your PI on stock and other reasons.

Hmm.. u sure 2 years free insurance?

If I 18 years old lic less than 1 year?

Easily near to 10k for two year liao wor..

Well bro if you are 18 then it's between you and your rep to work out what you can get. If you think that you can wrangle 10k worth of freebies out of the rep then you are truly the bargain champion. Cheers

The COEs have gone up in Cat A.

So if you can't get the same price you can wait or you get less free stuff. COE is the main price determinant.

Actually she is a charming lady... and we have referred a few friends to the same rep.. so we are old customers..

Bros

You can use what  I posted as a benchmark, but please refrain from pushing half a dozen reps to give an even lower price!

Stick to one, and also understand what the final price will be is dependant on the COE, as well as how many freebies you want..

You can't ask for a low price and guaranteed COE, and lots of freebies  [laugh]

DX listed as 110k,   -1k (for some colors*) = 109k

some colors* -1k =  white, black, ruse black, green (not sure about bronze and red)

blue and silver -0k.

additional goodies:  $500 shell petrol voucher + front recording camera (default DX do not have)

how is this price comparing to initial launch?

HRV in Kah Motor are very sellable especially they offer a two year insurance package, 3 years servicing (7 times servicing) and 5 years warranty on defects less waer and tear. I booked a Pear White DX model.

Bro

You got no loan and $500 cash. That's even better isn't it?

If fuel economy is the sole criterion then get the Prius...

Not really the sole criteria as the Vezel Hybrid also has pretty decent fuel consumption too.

The test drive was pretty short too. Just wanted some feedback on Vezel Hybrid from owners of the cars.

This is a thread for all Vezel models right?  [laugh]

i monitored for the last few coe...

7-sep   coe $51.5k : DX $107,999 (all colors)

21-sep coe $50.0k : DX $108,999 (some colors -$1k = $107,999)

5-oct    coe $51.5k : DX $109,999 (some colors -$1k = $108,999) + $500 petrol voucher + front cam

standard stuffs:

1 yr road tax

solar film

7 free servicing

can don't take loan (no penalty - sale rep say need manager approval, i think sure approve la)

Kah motor is, coe up or down, they also increase price

in a way, the $500 petrol voucher is to mitigate the rise in listed price.

so far, no sale rep tell me about free 2yr insurance. If the bros here gotten extra from what i listed, is bonus liao  [thumbsup]

You didn't include the no loan clause. That's worth a few thousand bro.. If you borrow 2.18%, and max out the loan, you would need to spend >5k.

That's worth a lot. Cheers

Thanks for your reply :)

Indeed I was comparing Vezel X vs HRV DX,

after the no loan penalty, 7 Kah motor servicing and higher scrap value, both pricing is like same.... to me HRV is the winner... not to mention 5yr AD warranty.

I also monitor earlier starting Jan this year.

Not that the COE up or down KM also up the price.

My time was, COE up and up consecutively for 3 or 4 times, KM also didn't up the price.

Eventually I took the decision and booked the LX at $112,999, lucky enough with a high COE.

Of course at those times, there was a risk. OMV unknown, specs unknown. Only known is MIJ 130ps engine.

Maybe now the price has stabilized and most info is known, OMV, specs, etc.

Hence the price pegging to COE and exchange rate starts. Which is the real price now.

Are u sure HRV n Vezel are of the same price? To my understanding Vezel is cheaper by $7k.

ok i rephrase again huh :

"after the zero no-loan penalty, 7 Kah motor servicings and higher scrap value, both pricing cost of ownership is like same..... not to mention 5yr AD warranty."

For some, the dollar discount is the most important.
But you can't place a value on the assurance of COE, service etc.

Previous bros did not have a choice, the older Thai HRV is totally different. It was either PI or the Thai HRV. I would not choose the Thai car either.

Now with the AD giving a simple way to get the COE, service, warranty, and if there are recalls, you know they will attend to it.

To me, these none tangible benefits are just as worth it as a cash discount.

I prefer to sleep well at night, cheers.
