  2. What do you guys feel about the new 7 series?
  3. Just wondering why so many park there after office hours? Drivers dont look like ahmad or valet.
  4. Just got back from the launch event at Clifford Pier. Anyone was there as well? Car looks beautiful and elegant. Currently available only in 740i/Li (3.0IL6 twin turbo) and 750i/Li (4.4V8 twin turbo). 750Li going for $428,800 (list). Will upload pictures and video shortly.
  5. In an attempt to appease traditional owners, BMW is modifying its flagship 7-Series. A facelifted version is due later next year. The current 7-series is the work of BMW design chief Chris Bangle who has created some truly eye-catching models, including the new Z4. Although the modifications to the 7-Series are minor, the Munich-based marque hopes they will placate potential customers and dealers worldwide who disliked the front and rear-end design. Another target for criticism has been the iDrive system which can be used to operate the radio/TV, Sat-Nav, telephone and air-conditioning among other things. The system has already been reworked - and simplified - for the new 5-Series. The facelifted 7-Series will have a softer look. The most visible changes will be the new headlights and wider, more curved trademark twin-kidney grille. There will also be new bumpers front and rear. Published in the Irish Times 06 August 2003
