  1. A road-going version of the Alpine A110 GT4 has been spotted going around Nurburgring. The prototype is set to get more power than the base variant. As reported by Carscoops, the prototype was photographed wearing a livery inspired by the GT4 race car but is noticeably less aggressive as it eschews the ventilated carbon fiber hood and adopts a smaller front spoiler. Also noteworthy is a smaller wing on its boot that says “A110 GT4” If this road-legal version of the A110 GT4 comes true, the car could be loosely based on the A110 Cup that comes with a track-tuned suspension with adjustable Ohlins shock absorbers and a 40mm lowered ride height and a magnesium Brembo braking system. The engine remains largely the same but will likely get a boost in power for the GT4 to a possible 266bhp or more.
  2. Porsche has been testing for quite some time now the new GT4 version of the 718 Cayman. And it appears that there will be more six-cylinder models coming to the mid-engine Boxster and Cayman range. According to Carscoops, Porsche has been spotted at the 'Ring with a 718 Boxster and Cayman and they sounded different from the four-cylinder turbocharged units present in the current 718 lineup. Other than the upcoming track-focused GT4, Porsche might be installing the same 4.0-liter flat-six unit from the 911 GT3 into “Touring” versions of the Spyder and GT4 models respectively. Porsche has worked hard and managed to make the naturally aspirated flat-six compliant with the latest Euro 6d emission regulations without sacrificing power. Reports have suggested that the Cayman GT4 and Boxster Spyder will put out around 425bhp while the Touring models will get it with around 380bhp.
  3. Watch how 2013 King of Europe Drift Champion, Francesco Conti, make the 600hp BMW M3 E92 GT4 look good sideways with some long drifts. Note how he skillfully links the straights into curves at Hungaroring! http://dai.ly/x1u2adq_drift-ro-shorts-bmw-m3-e92-gt4-drift-hungaroring_auto
  4. Kia has shown its first rear-wheel drive sports car at the Detroit motor show. The GT4 Stinger was shown to the press as the brand’s potential rival for the Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ. The GT4 Stinger is a 2+2, front-engined coupe powered by a 311bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine taken from Kia’s Optima racecars. That makes it substantially more powerful than the Toyota, with its 197bhp, but like the 86, the Kia is focused on being a proper driver’s car. Hence, the 4.26-metre long coupe has been designed to weigh a mere 1315kg in production form, runs double wishbone suspension front and rear and doesn’t even have a radio. ‘The soundtrack comes from the engine and out of the exhaust,’ says the concept’s head designer. ‘Our whole approach has been to do something very simple and pure, but new looking,’ Kearns says. ‘It’s a very simple shape, so that was our thinking’. While strictly a concept, Kearns says that if it makes production, the GT4 will be cheaper than the GT-86, which starts at £25k. The GT4 would run a modified version of the Genesis platform, he suggests. ‘We’ve got to make it lighter and smaller to capture the essence of this concept, but I think it’s do-able,’ Kearns says. Most of the car is production viable, apart from the stacked LED headlights, which are too low for most country's regulations, while the viability of the see-through A-pillars hasn’t been evaluated either. Yet it’s not a pipedream or crazy concept. ‘We always imagine it [a concept] on the street,’ says Kia president, Peter Schreyer, ‘and that’s the same with this car’. The Detroit reveal was the first time Kia’s board has seen the car, according to Schreyer. ‘We have not done any feasibility on it, but my gut feeling is there’s nothing about it that’s not possible.’ It’s expected that the GT4 Stinger will be in showrooms in 2016 if it’s given the green light for production.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRKbIXb9ShE With over 1200 cars, 37 locations and 100 track layouts, GT6 is more than enough to test the mettle of any virtual gamer. As well as GT staples like Grand Valley, High Speed Ring and Trial Mountain, Apricot Hill returns to the series after its absence from GT5 while two new original locations, Matterhorn and the Gran Turismo Arena make their debuts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DA8bgld5sU8 The roster of real-world circuits has grown further too, with the Ascari motor sports resort in Spain, Willow Springs, Brands Hatch, Silverstone, the Goodwood hill climb and the famous Mount Panorama circuit in Australia all appearing for the first time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcKt5gm1C44 As most of you may(or should) already know, the latest version of one of the best-selling franchise on PlayStation, set for release in Asia on December 5th, launched a range of pre-order exclusive premiums like the 15th Anniversary Edition, which comes with a DLC 3D voucher card, including three 15th Anniversarys designed cars of Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C7), Tesla Motors Model S Signature Performance and Viper GTS, and the Racing Pack or Collectors Pack, with an extra DLC 3D voucher card of the 15th Anniversary designed Audi R8 LMS ultra car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33XHZ0A51ck As far as cars go, the list is extremely spectacular--classic beauties like the BMW 507 and Ferrari 246 GT Dino join modern supercars like the Pagani Huayra, Ferrari FXX and of course, the new Corvette Stingray. Cadillac's CTS-V coupe also appears, alongside more esoteric offerings such as the Light Car Company Rocket, KTM X-Bow and Jay Leno's 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado. And you can still drive dozens of Nissan Skylines, Honda Civics and Mazda Miatas. Day and night simulation will now be accurately modeled relative to where on the globe you're racing. Even the positions of the stars are accurate during night races, letting you watch the Milky Way pass overhead--while real-time weather is also on the cards. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X4FCyI1SlM Sony said that the game uses a new engine that "pushes the limits of the PS3", causing us to wonder what it's like on the PS4, which wasn't mentioned. This new game engine is joined by a new physics engine that extends to include tyres and suspension and kinematics models. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G90aunpShIE
