Hi guys, looking for Melbourne map (updated ones) for my trip this year end. Am on the Papago system. Any help please? Don't want to spend on a dedicated Oz garmin... Rental of GPS there is not a guarantee (apparently...) so am not risking it... Cheers guys! Thanks!

heard from the technician of eastgear, there will no longer be support for holux papago softwares. i have already upgraded my software to galatcio or something. more fucntions with this new software. eg toll charges, max speed of current road, etc. mine is holux 62f with warrenty, so upgrade free. do check it out with eastgear before yr warrenty ends.

just to share some information, just went to Audio Hse yesterday .>> got some sale on old gps model...50% but most of the discounted model are EXTERNAL antenna based..., so i never buy.. But now i think the value for $$$ GPS shld be Holux 61 and Shinco GM4300 (it suits my budget of $400 and 4.3") Both sets specs are quite similiar with only exceptional is that 61 dont have bluetooth, 4300 got. BUT 61 is slimer as compared to 4300 (abt slimer by half) The only bad thing is that the Holux 61 and GM4300 is old technology one 24 channel statelite tihngy. GM4380 and Holux 62 are the latest one with 32 channels but are slight above $400 Recently i heard that Marbella GPS are good too... but i never heard of it b4.. anyone got information???

Hey bros, lets review and share the pros and cons on this product, hopefully, they'll do a firmware or hardware with extra functions. This is better than any GPS i ever tried, in terms of speed, accuracy and clarity. I get quicker Sat fix, than tibo or asus pda 686 (if i am not wrong about the model). Using a G10 format, well, most companies will be using that format soon. (future proof) Can't wait for the firmware to watch video in car. Price is unbeatable. I just want a jack to plug in headphones!

Eloo bros/sis... for stand alone GPS system, which 1 is recommended to get? can both system update the maps on our own? using mapking or malsing maps is it? if budget around $500, what are the models I can look at? think eastgear selling one of the Holux models at $499. Don't need bluetooth, just need the GPS hehe thx in advance.
