  1. You hardly get this type of news coverage in our papers... Last week, we published the first part of Reverend Miak Siew
  2. http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...one_helped.html link has video
  3. Was doing some reading - it seems the US is on the verge of electing their first OPENLY LGBT Senator. So I did a bit of research (well ok, I went to wiki) As far as world wide trends go, the US is quite far behind - Belgium, for example, has had an openly Gay PM For New Zealand, I must say I am quite proud of the listing you can see here. Member of Parliament: Female: Marilyn Waring (National) 1975
  4. http://www.tremeritus.com/2012/08/24/catho...s-from-parents/ The Catholic High School (CHS) is openly soliciting for "gifts and presents" from the parents of its students, to "touch the teacher's life", in its coming Teachers' Day Celebration. According to the CHS memo which was forwarded to TR Emeritus (TRE) by a parent, the event is organized by CHS Management Committee, CHS Alumni and the Parent Support Group (PSG). The memo wrote that the PSG Exco is appealing to parents who would like to show their heartfelt gratitute to contribute a present to this event, and listed the 'proposed' presents as "shopping vouchers, dining vouchers, current digital gadgets or home appliance, tour packages, etc". Parents are asked to deposit the gifts into a box at the Primary or Secondary School's General office by 27th August 2012. The memo also listed the contact person for parents with enquiries as Bee Yen (Primary) and Winy Quek (Secondary).
  5. I just did last Friday. Sabotage by a newly promoted supervisor, a young Chinese girl from boleh land. I was told to implement a new system by my regional but could mean more admin work for her team. So she feedback even the tiniest technical glitches to my idiotic director, who in turn conclude that the system is inefficient in front of my regional. My regional who thought the whole system is down questions me about it. I reported those glitches to them and got screwed by my director for making him look bloody bad. That was his last day before he went for retirement or go die better. The new director came in and reopen the case. That bitch printed out copies of A3 size paper and the so called reported issues are mere few points complete with dates of reporting etc. The new director looked at me and my manager and that bitch's manager, then quickly went through the motion and end the meeting. Chow Chee Bye, it's like having a punctured tire and telling the AD the car handling no good. Think I will go for a run later and figure out how to put her out of job.
