Csnewbie 1st Gear October 7, 2010 Share October 7, 2010 (edited) i totally agree, last tie i always buy from there since 10 years ago. but in the last 3 year, thier food standerd drop alot, and nowadyas, i prefer to buy from pungol nas at tanjong katong.it taste much better than chong pang. and yes the rice, cilli sauce, and chicken wing is no where near last time. so now i only go to the beancurd place beside to buy the tao hua. which is so delicious haha This is a better one. Still not up to my expectation i wld say. Especially fried ones--overfried. Sambal lost too much to Hup Lee. Booboon 1st Gear October 25, 2010 Share October 25, 2010 I was a huge fan of chong pang Nasi lemak during their sembawang market days. If u hang around long enuff, u can see workers carrying freshly slaughtrr pig carcass to the market early in the morning. A plate of Nasi lemak, chicken wing, otak n ikan billis wash down w a cup of teh tarik, heaven. Since they moved to sembawang road, standard really drop, stop patronizing them ever since. Really bring back fond memories.

Buzzzz Clutched October 25, 2010 Share October 25, 2010 The CP nasi lemak is definitely not as before, esp after change of cook, increase range of dishes and expansion of business. Will stil dropby once awhile but not often now. As for Hup Lee, find their dishes lack of variety and the taste not to my liking. Havnt got chance to try punggol nasi lemak yet. Everyone have their own preference, so its up to individ. as long you enjoy.

Junjie 1st Gear November 7, 2010 Share November 7, 2010 Boon lay old market, once you turn in to the carpark, u can see the shop, it's facing the carpark at the corner......price resonable if you compared to Punggol or Chong pang nasi lemak, those chinese type is way too expensive and standard dropping... Little_prince Supersonic May 18, 2014 Share May 18, 2014 Punggol Nasi Lemak. People say that they are expensive, but taxi driver also charges midnight charges right? As long food quality is not undermine, I actually don't mind paying a little bit more for it. problem is that food quality go down the drain once they start hiring ah tiongs. expensive. long queue. lousy service from the ah tiongs.. i rather spend my money elsewhere
