Group of irresponsible cyclists take up all 3 lanes on West Coast highway

Some cyclists were caught cycling irresponsibly on the West Coast Highway, even going as far as to take up all three lanes of the highway. It almost seems like they have a death wish by treating road safety like a joke.

Watch the video for yourself below

Guidelines for Cyclists

LTA guidelines clearly state that cyclists on the road must adhere to on-road safety guidelines by NOT cycling on expressways, road tunnels as well as selected viaducts.

They also must keep a straight course, not weave through traffic, and avoid sudden swerves.

The cyclists in this video seem to have broken all the rules mentioned above, putting both their own safety and others in danger. They also appear to be occupying all three lanes and even swerve between lanes at high speeds.

Considering that cyclists are at the highest risk of injury in the event of an accident, one would think that they should have a higher regard for their own safety, yes?

Doesn't look like it though.

It’s more of a case of having more resources as the police seems to be over loaded. Of course there is the other bit where Tp and LTA need to decide which area of this offence falls under.

The writer is just stirring sh*t.

The riders were in one lane and moved to the centre lane as the leftmost was an exit to a container terminal. One rider was overtaking and he checked back to make sure no vehicles and moved to outside lane and quickly moved back in.

Dont make it seem like they are road hogging all 3 lanes throughout, even though its an off peak sunday morning.

  • Godzilla Minus One: Surprisingly emotional and poignant

When one thinks of Godzilla movies, one imagines an oversized amphibious dinosaur generating a terrifying heat ray from its mouth and fighting with other oversized monsters. Meh, nothing special, right? Wrong. Here’s why Godzilla Minus One should be an action movie you should definitely catch. In this version, the timeless clash between monster and man is once again set against the tumultuous backdrop of post-war Japan. But, unlike typical action films that dive headfirst into destruction a

    Ready? Steady? Slow!

Have you ever watched on of those baby crawling races? They are hilarious. I watch a lot of NBA, and sometimes they have these races as a halftime entertainment. And its hilarious because unlike most athletic races, there's an inherent unpredictability and chaos to these things. They get distracted, they get bored, they get tired. Babies doing baby things, you know.  Well, England thinks it can one-up the absurdity of racing: Introducing to you, Snail Racing.  It seems almost

23 years on, Infernal Affairs remains the best gangster movie I've watched

TL;DR It's over two decades old, but Infernal Affairs remains THE gangster trilogy. *SPOILERS AHEAD* *SPOILERS AHEAD* *SPOILERS AHEAD* The Hong Kong Police and a triad have placed moles in each other's ranks. Tony Leung is Chan Wing Yan, an undercover cop desperate to leave his assignment. The antagonist is Senior Inspector Lau Kin Ming (Andy Lau), a decorated policeman who is actually a mole for Hon Sam (Eric Tsang), a triad boss. It's a game of cat-and-mouse, with poli

The enduring charm of Singapore wet markets

I know I’m idealising it all - as a not-so-young millennial that can’t remember the last time he cooked a full meal for himself. (That was probably a good two years ago.) But moving on slightly from morning walks now, the space I’ve found myself frequenting when I feel like I need a break from the routines of everyday life (or to simply clear my head) isn’t the park. It’s the basement level of Punggol Plaza. That a wet market even exists here should be surprising. Punggol, after all, is qui
