Sigh.... anyone experience before? Is it easy to repair? Consider urself lucky!! I drove my bro's ride once, it was a Alfa Romeo 75 hatchback. I didn't noe how the alarm system works so I was standing at the rear of the car with the bootlid up and all 4 doors shut waiting for my mom with the groceries when suddenly the doors locked by itself and the key was in the ignition!! I was in JB then!! It was fortunate that the bootlid was opened and I had no choice but to climb thru the rear hatch!! Everyone was watching me then with an SG (Stupid Guy in dis case ) car with "special" entrance presumably!

Anja98 Neutral Newbie May 4, 2013 Share May 4, 2013 Sorry for bringing up an old post and hijacking this thread as I do not have permission to start a new topic. My latio front passenger door was stuck. Couldn't open it from inside/outside. Turn out that the cable broke and I had to replace the entire door lock assembly. Cost me $190 exclude labour. After replacement, though its now working, I have more problem. The auto locking mechanism for the other 3 door fails to work properly. But if I use my remote key to lock/unlock, it's fine. Using control panel at the driver door, it doesn't lock/unlock the other 3 doors. I can feel the inside motor nudging a little and seems like there's not enough power to activate the locking mechanism. The weirdest thing is, if I leave it for a few minutes during the driving, the problem will go away. But if I lock/unlock a few times, the problem comes back again. Any thoughts? Anja98 Neutral Newbie May 4, 2013 Share May 4, 2013 They also cannot figure it out.... Tell me my door lock motor for the other 3 doors spoil also... But how can it be so coincident that after I replace new lock the other 3 spoil at the same time? In the end, I gave up told them I go seek second opinion as don't wanna waste time with them cos I know they also cannot offer me a good explanation anyway. Tohto Hypersonic October 14, 2015 Share October 14, 2015 KNS, hate to see so many irresponsible parents in SG. If you see properly, the baby trolley is outside. I suspect the parent may had go to the car boots to take the baby trolley and prepared to carry the baby out after the trolley is ready. But he may had accidentally lock the car with the key still inside.

Mcf777 Turbocharged October 12, 2018 Share October 12, 2018 (edited) Did anyone ever experience not able to open the car door due to signal interference from nearby building? Twice (within 2 weeks), I parked same stretch of lot at Blk 31 Kelantan Road, MSCP (DSC Clinic). Facing Kim Hoe Centre, Ah Boy bike shop (along Kelantan Lane) The car remote not able to sense the signal from the vehicle (remote kept on blinking red light). At first, I thot the remote battery low (But I just changed 1-2 weeks ago). Walk to Mustafa, bought a new battery for the remote. Still cannot open. Have to use the car key (in the remote) to unlock the door. Took me about 8 tries (to start engine) for the remote to sense the car system signal.
