Nero159 Neutral Newbie December 29, 2006 Share December 29, 2006 Hmmm... Toyota is trying very hard for a family look. Unfortunately and more importantly, the fundamentals (i.e. chassis, engine, etc) are unchanged so it is just another facelift and no quantum leap in technology, handling, safety, etc. ↡ Advertisement

Shemmy Clutched December 29, 2006 Share December 29, 2006 Seriously, i think it looks awesome. I've recently just traded in my altis due to it being a little too boring but this looks good. My money on this being another top seller among it's price range.
Quantum 5th Gear December 29, 2006 Author Share December 29, 2006 if I am not wrong, this new corolla c/w Dual VVT-i engine, FC declare 17km/l if manual, further...
Pisces69 6th Gear December 29, 2006 Share December 29, 2006 (edited) IMHO, BM might bring this one plus Axio to replace existing Altis and vios, then 1.8 altis will fill the empty of mid-size sedan ====================== Yup. They cud replace the 1.6lit Altis with another model & the Altis wil "grow" to a 1.8 & 2.0lit car. That is what usually happens. The cars "grow" after a few FL models. Accord was 1.6, then now is 2.0 & 2.4 lit. Civic was 1.2 then 1.6 & now 1.8 & 2.0lit. Corolla was 1.2, 1.3 & 1.5lit. Then 1.6 lit. Quantum 5th Gear December 29, 2006 Author Share December 29, 2006 this tendency is more obviously in developing countries such as China, India..., unfortunately have to include Singapore actually in Japan and Euro, 1.3L to 1.5L is more popular for daily transport, of course most of them have another big cc MPV or SUV for weekend outing

Miles 4th Gear January 5, 2007 Share January 5, 2007 i prefer the civic fd. the new tom yam camry was a nice and refreshing change... promising more of these to come... but the G10 corrolla (if it really is) is a disappointment. nonetheless, it will still shift 300-400 units a week, given the local appetite for Toyota. Mcf1 Neutral Newbie January 5, 2007 Share January 5, 2007 Personally I still preferred JDM corolla axio but I think very unlikely Boneo Motor will bring JDM version in, I have seen and sit in the new corolla Axio, is really comfortable, the seat, the driving position, the interior though looks conventional but I believe these design can stand the test of time, unlikely to get out of date fast. The Bad news is new corolla will not launch in Singapore in 2007. ↡ Advertisement
