I have driven a 1000cc car to 4000cc car

some in between are company's vehicle

after driving for many years I figured out, actually it is passengers that feel the most difference between different cars (I am talking about mass production cars)

for the driver, if you dont consider the performance of the car but basically the 'drive' it feels about the same especially if it is on a well paved road

dont know if you feel the same way

If auto, more or less the same feel....

Pickup varies though...

If manual, very different...

Have driven at least 7 different manuals models in my life, all feel damn different.

Especially engine cap... Makes a whole of difference to the feel of the clutch and gear....

i always thought different car, different feel. some may have better noise insulation, others may have a powerful engine or smoother transmission. I'm sure u'll feel the difference from driving a CVT and an conventional auto gearbox car

I always thought it's the opposite. [confused]

at times, it's not the car, but the driver..

I think the difference is between 'normal' car and 'performance' car. All normal cars are usually comfort oriented, bigger cc cars may have more power but power to weight ratio may not be too far from a lighter but smaller cc car.

I have driven vehicles from 659cc, 1000cc, 1300cc and 1600cc engine category.

Although the difference can be up to 1000cc, everything starts to feel the same after a while. May be it's because I don't speed, that's why I can't tell the difference.

Look, you're clearly on a crusade to convince yourself that models and engine does not matter.

We've clearly told you it matters to the rest of us.

But why bother to ask? Just get the cheapest sub 1000cc car you can get and leave us in peace.... [rolleyes]

Is it generally true that when we upgrade we tend to buy the next car with bigger cc?

Does this make sense? When we upgrade it means we are moving towards a better option?

Big cc cars mean worse oil consumption

do you really need a 2L car in Singapore

the only difficult hill to climb is Mount Faber

how many of us drive to Mount faber

most of us are already past the pat tor stage already
